Unfortunately yes, that is a part of constitution. The thing is no country would allow a leader from minority to become a premier be it president or prime minster (depending on the type of system), even if they do the backlash would be huge. You can state Barack Obama is an example of this, I would say yes may be but American society is more polarized than ever before. In an Asian context, forget about it since we are far worse off.

In Britain, the conservatives are comparatively more liberal and democratic than Democrats of US. But eve in Britain it is highly unlikely a non white would be accepted widely as prime minister, but yes UK still fared far better.

By the way, Maldives is a country where only Sunni islam is permitted to exist and whoever belonging to any other religious group had his/her passport taken away. And "popular media" didn't even report about it.

most of the country here you mentioned on the map charts is mostly been founded as religion based states from the start, and it is not coincident if they had something like Apostasy law, Sharia law or whatsoever they will call it. It's not much different with the formation of Papal States and other Catholic countries in Europe who flourish during medieval through renaissance era. It's not much different with so many modern pre-dominant Catholic states like Brazil, Philippine who applied some verses and teaching of Bible into their law, like banning of capital punishment, banning of same sex Marriage, and other rules.

This is what exactly Singaporean Chinese are doing. We know minorities are poorer and we put them in good neighborhood through housing quota, so that they can enjoy better social service.

I know this, but it's too far away from me. I pay more attentions to Muslim in China and ASEAN.
Every month, if Muslim don't make some trouble in China, I feel the month is not past.

Well Singapore has been doing a good job, like you said providing social welfare to the less priviledged groups of people like immigrants from less developed countries, well done! However I still can't relate anything with Muslim or Islam? Not all underdeveloped countries are Muslim or Islamic are they? So I suggest let's leave religion out of the discussion.

Wrong again. Except for Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, other countries were not founded on the basis of religion. Countries like Syria and Iraq are remnants of the Ottoman empire in the same way how Central Asian states are remnants of USSR yet how they perceive religion is very different. So no, majority of those countries are not founded in the name of religion.

So even in your post it seems that you identify it as a problem regardless of whatever the cause is. So what are you arguing about?
