I know he fought for Sikh rights and but this statement is a joke!!!

The quote itself is showing that he is not considering the history of Islamic invaders and the failure of the people in the North Western region to protect borders. Now ...... how credible is this statement ??

Is he thinking that Mughal empire is the legitimate one or is he pleasing Pakistanis with this statement at that time who used to see themselves as the descendants of Turks??
