Militant groups in Pakistan have quite a few foreign fighters. In fact, the APS attackers consisted of 1 Chechen, 1 Egyptian, 1 Moroccan, 1 Saudi and 2 Afghans. The other guy wasn't identified, but he was probably foreign too.

One was uzbek, second one pashtun from bajaur agency third one from mohmand agency. They were communicating in urdu with their handler abu sufyan or whatever name he got,According to pakistani media sources. Their messages on fb messenger were shown on media.

They were probably speaking Dari... an inferiority complex version of Farsi.

Afghanistan has Uzbek/Tajik ethnics and they are traditionally NA supporters. Don't confuse them with the countries Tajikistan or Uzbekistan, both enjoy cordial relations with Islamabad.

Uzbekistan are very modern and westernised , why do they need to join terrorist organisations.

These are Afghani Uzbeks. Because of Afghanistan being war torn and little else to do, Afghanis of every kind are very easy to hire as mercenaries. These 3 afghani terrorists families most have become rich by afghan standard over night. Promise of 72 virgins also make going to suicide mission easier.
