With the global pandemic forcing millions of students to embrace remote learning, this is the perfect time to study what works and what doesn’t in the developed world. Much of the curriculum maybe paired down to the core essentials and it is a great case study of how and what exactly needs to get taught to keep students up to the standard.

Pakistan can study the curriculums and remote education and find ways to use it to reach more students and teach all students to global standards, to make them globally competitive.

remote learning is being used from the youngest students all the way up to university students. This is a once in a life time opportunity to reach out to overseas Pakistani students and study what and how they are learning, and see what may help our curriculum reforms.

this idea is not to say that Pakistan does not have great schools, but getting to know how the world is trying to teach all these students and maintain standard may reveals new techniques to more efficiently teach Pakistani students, especially those students that can’t reach a classroom and would benefit from remote learning

Our university has already started regular online classes since last week. All you just need is a good internet connection, mobile/laptop and a handsfree

An entire 20 years of schooling, video lectures and books, can be digitized and put on a tablet. Even an internet connection is not absolutely required. That's been true for many years now.

Kids don't look like going to school before winter.

Government should make that laptop scheme work of its predecessor or formula a policy for millions of students not scheduled to be back in school environment.

Offer them something other than Ertugul at home
