Honestly, yeah, I am not that knowledgeable about this field, last time I studied any of it was 6 years ago, just theory (concepts) and for extra curriculum. And that is why I am just talking about theory, I have no clue how they are turning it into practice.
As part of my Btech Project I had worked on s/w project which simulated Quantum cryptography. As for 0/0, i was not questioning God, but pointing out loopholes in conventional understanding of Maths.
Though Maths is the basis of science, which pretty much drives humanity forward.
My final point is quantum cryptography is not a panacea for security, but the best one available
