We need to create opportunities inside Iran so Iranian talents like this return to Iran or Iranian talents are less likely to leave Iran to begin with. We have people winning field prizes in mathematics, people involved in top projects in NASA and so much more. What you posted is just one example. Just imagine if even 1% of these guys returned. They can bring what they have learned to advance Iran. If the management system in Iran become better, Iran can easily become a scientific power house. The Persians have historically been a scientific power. It can happen again.

It will happen. We need a society that can accept different views, maturity in politics and rule of law and flow of Capital. Our middle class should grow. Society should be let open to experience different views. Economy should open and people given equal opportunity and state economy dispersed so middle class could benefit and grow. When all happens automatically that would happen.

The flow in some countries that had sent their talents abroad is reversing. many indians coming back to India and so do Chinese, though the opportunity and living conditions are better in their home town. China is not the Maoist era it used to be, so if China can change to a more moderate and future oriented, Iran could be as well. At the end we are as patriotic as a Chinese and an Indian.
