QS Asia University Rankings 2019: 23 Pakistani Universities Make It To The List

The prestigious Quacquarelli Symonds- QS Asia University Rankings 2019 are out and Pakistani universities have performed better in the list this year.
Amongst top 500 institutes in Asia, as many as 23 Pakistani varsities have made it to the rankings. Last year, only 16 prominent universities represented our nation in the list.
This year the top honors went to National University of Singapore (NUS), followed by the University of Hong Kong and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU).

NUST has moved its spot from 112 to 87, while LUMS has climbed high from 103 up to 95
New entrants included Bahria University Islamabad and International Islamic University Islamabad (IIU) in 351-400 band, University of Sargodha and the University of Sindh in the 401-450 band, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), University of Central Punjab (UCP) and University of Management and Technology Lahore (UMT) in the 451-500 band.
