The necessary of QRSAM is rapid reaction, long range, 360 degree radar coverage, easily available and in quantity (4 to 6 missile per vehicle) etc. if AKASH was enough there would be no RFI by army for the same. for navy the Barak is already their. so their are many advantages over Akash missile "system" by QRSAM.
