He blew it by denying, denying, denying US reports that he had an invasion planned.

His credibility went right out the window when he invaded. He'll never be trusted again. Whatever sympathizers he had in the EU just got a punch in the face. They'll never be able to defend him again without being scorned.

Now in an instant what the US says in the future will not be written off as empty drama...and the US will leverage that...against China. Now when the US warns about things like 5G more ears will perk up.

This is a major PR fiasco by Putin and XI is going to get the fallout.

Oh, yeah, you Yankees started at least four invasions and mass killings recently in four countries including Vietnam, Iraq, Libya and Syria by pure fabrications of attacks on US navy, possession of mass destruction weapons, mass murders of the people and the use of chemicals to kill babies in the four countries. Now, you Yankees are making the same fabrication about Chinese genocide in Xinjiang. Besides, the USA is the culprit that stirs up the trouble in Ukraine now and I don't see the USA should escape the world condemnation for brewing up this war. You Yankees are definitely not clean and innocent in this war as you like others to believe. I haven't see any country such as USA with such shameless behaviours and evil designs in recent time. Of course, the EU white bigots will always agree and follow whatever Yankees say and do. But, do you think the rest of the world is ready to forget the long list of you Yankees' lies and misdeeds and accept what you evil world scourges say and do in the near future as you believe you have credibility now ? What else Germany could say after it submitted to US? Making a decision is fast. The backfire of the decision normally comes a little late. Germans will gradually feel the pain. We can see if they still keep the sanction by then.

We all know for the war, Germany is the victim second to Ukraine. Why Americans are so confident that Germans would sacrifice their long term interest for western morality? I heard Germany will rearm itself. What the purpose? To defend Russia's invasion or defend US' interference in European affairs?

It is very much likely. Ukraine war will create permanent fissures between Russia and Europe. If RF annex Ukraine then relations between RF and EU will be damaged greatly for many years. If the war ends as Putin would it to end quickly, sanctions on RF will still remain for 2-3 years or more, uncertainty will remain for a long time.

With this China shall be greatly dependent upon land, sea, air routes through Pakistan to go to EU via Afg, Iran, and Turkey. Even RF shall need Pakistan more for Gwadar Sea Port. Pakistan will be KEY.
