the pathans have been exploited by their parties a lot like ANP, similarly the balochs and Sindis have been exploited by PPP, when ever there is some trouble and people of Karachi call to eliminate some criminal mafias, they hide under ethnic nationalism and try to defend it and the matter becomes political for example, the transport mafia takes ethnic colour, the drug smuggling, TTP issue takes ethnic colour, similarly lyari gang issue, gun smuggling, land mafia etc

if few pathans are involved in some crime, so does punjabi, mohajir, sindi, baloch, but there are some parties like ANP and PPP which give it an ethnic colour and get defensive

now you may jump on saying that MQM saying MQM is ethnic party and it gives ethnic colour to issue then it was the same MQM from 2002 till 2007, in whose presence the pathans were working on construction business, the water supply to lyari was first commenced, and Sindis of Karachi told how PPP never developed their areas like MQM did and MQM finally won from NA239 in 2013

yaap .... Islamia college is a strong hold of Jamiat from a very long time, & they were enjoying the same status in Dowood Eng. ....... but now situation seems different .....
