It really sucks to be a sepoy in Indian army (not sure about this famous dal bati whiner). Or really anything below Subedar/JCO ranks. If the senior officers don't call you up[to do their gardening work, you're first in line for a Pakistani bullet or a Chinese mukkabazi. And you have to salute your officer while you're being screwed. God knows which Brit invented this pathetic system!
