English sources are reporting -

"Those who were on hunger strike for a strong Jan Lokpal Bill will not achieve anything, as corruption will never end from this country," Badal said.

But he actually said following in Punjabi -

"Kya karlega lokpal, bhookh hartal karne walo ke kuch nahi haath lage ga, jo ukhadna hai ukhad lo", he said this in very threatening tone.

This guy has complete control over cable, transport, mining, and liquor business in Punjab. In 2003 Vigilance bureau's investigation revealed the Badals had reportedly amassed property worth Rs. 2,300 crore disproportionate to their sources of income. The corruption of the Badal family is striking. Robbing the state blind, Parkash Badal rose from a midsize zamindar, owning 80 acres of land, to commanding properties and businesses worth millions of dollars in Punjab, the US, Australia, Canada, and throughout the world.

No choice really, Congress betrayed Punjabis in 1984. No efforts were ever done to bring industry into Punjab. Now agriculture is dying because people are still growing centuries old crop like Grain and Paddy. Central Government is no more interested in buying Punjab's paddy because according to them it's sub-standard and they get the higher standard product for cheaper price from Australia. Water levels have gone down dangerously low. No wonder Jatts are committing suicides and going bankrupt.
