Two things.Safriz,
How are you coming to the conclusion that 'many Pashtun are not standing up to this racism'?
Please keep in mind that we have a bunch of Punjabis & Sindhi's that are huge cheerleaders for this racist organization. Pretty much anyone from the Pakistan left, those who are anti-Army and those who would see India & Pakistan as 'One' and support the PTM because they want to see the destruction of the Pakistani State.
I myself follow several Pakistani Pashtun on social media that are vociferous opponents of the PTM.
And as I have pointed out repeatedly, please do not make derogatory generalizations about ANY community.
The focus needs to be on highlighting the PTM's racism, lies, propaganda and anti-State behavior, and not turn into some kind of Pashtun bashing exercise.
I said many , not all.
Secondly those who don't oppose PRM and even without being part of PTM are racist against Punjabi are very large in numbers, not a negligible small group.
Until this factor of Pushtoon culture is not called out and named and shamed , it won't be dealt with.
This is a mentality which is reminiscent of Sikh-Khalsa and Afghan emirate wars in the 1700s and 1800s.
Sardar Hira Singh who created Gira Mandi, the vegetarian Sikh soldiers who are sattu and dry pulses from a leather bag or "Bastaa" . All these characteristics of Sikh Punjabi culture were presented to Afghan soldiers as anti enemy propaganda, so that they hate the enemy even more.
Now the same rhetoric is being used against Muslim Punjabi of Pakistan by Pakistani pushroons. In fact this mindset never ended since the Sikh-Afghan wars and is being passed on to the next generation and needs to be dealt with.
We all know what violence the "Shaala pounzaabi" mentality of Bengalis unleashed.
Likewise they called the rest of Non Bengali residents such as the Bihari as "Bijjou" or a rodent and that dehumanised all of them and the rest is history.
