PTI's Election Manifesto: News & Discussions

NO DEBATE ???

Fact is ministeries are run by Secretaries, ministers are just for policy making

lol yup no debate.

i know that. again the idea is to reduce all those ministries to 18 by 'merging them together or abolishing them.' this is much more efficient as it streamlines the government functioning. unless u think that we really need all those ministries? and its only the number of ministers which is the problem?

even you merge the work force is there and yes the problem is number of ministers. The money spent on these ministers is just :hitwall:

we should make a law where if a minister annual income is above xyz Rs there should be no house for hime, he must pay for all the visits etc etc etc

.
This separation, when the time comes, will be vetoed by the military brass most certainly.

Not a chance.

Actually the military is not very keen to keep up the load of the PIA, a few officers deputed there does not really mean anything. From what I have heard, this move would be welcomed by the military.

while what u say is true, i still believe that streamlining ur work force is a major part of efficient governance. so to me, based on my subjective beliefs and understanding, reducing the number of ministries to 18 even if the work force stays the same in the short term to medium term is a big thing.

Another point he made is that MNA's are not there for development but for making laws and policies, development is simply not their job.

I agree with him

Finally i got all answers for what i was looking for. I am pretty satisfied. Just so happy to see Imran Khan so much confident and so much certain through his body language. Certainly, he is seeing something wonderful in future and so do i..:smitten::smitten: But its a long way still. So guys lets prepare for a battle.....:pakistan:

.
^^ also all the luxuries for ministers and higher bureacracy should end now.. They should be told that now you will get this much of allowances per month and that is it, no more goverment vehicles and free petrol for personal use and no more free annual visits as well for MNA and ministers with family. Perhaps increase their salaries and end this ayashi. because majority uses these government facilities for their personal and family which is not fair. No more free mali's and drivers and chef.

PIA's role for the military is much more than mere deputations or money, but I will not say anymore. We can talk about this again if one of us is proven right in a few months.

May be any senior member would be able to answer that. If the qualification required to appear in Courts for legal issue is to be a Law Graduate, than why there isn't any certain qualification required to be a member of legislative assemblies in Pakistan?????????:blink::blink::blink:

the idea is that even the uneducated class have the right to influence the legislation as they are part of the country as well. although personally i do not agree with this.

And this bit is very hard for traditional politicians to swallow bcz this deprives them of their bread and butter . But development should only be the job of local Govts. something promised in the manifesto .

.
More like old garbage same old promises,This guy is the biggest joke in pakistan politics

.
Interesting manifesto but no idea how many of them he will be able to achieve...

For example, load shedding can't be over within 3 years... It's almost impossible... unless you get 15-25 billion dollars gift from somewhere
