At the time of fist Afghan war in 80s', dollars were flowing through Pakistan. But we are still picking the pieces of the wreck we have made our country after that engagement. Forget this bravado - 'we won against superpower'. We lost more than we gained.

We did the same under Musharraf. Grants, loan write-offs, budgetary support of $300 million for 5 years. You name it. Every type of money a beggar can dream of, we got it. But what is Pakistan now? Its worse than what it was 10 years ago. Security, economy, lack of policy, everything is so clearly evident.

in 80s the whole world was against soviet russia , what we did wrong?
not became a party to a minority?
we made a right choice in 80s, but in 90,s our so called jamhoori leaders failed to clean the mess, even it was so ezy?
why?
cause they were too bzy, in looting the dollors kept by the patriotic militry govt?
just check the history, where was NAWAZ & BB,s assests were at the time of frist elections held soon after genrl zia ul haq ,s shadaat?
& check thier wealth at the begaining time of another patriotic millitry govt in 99, under genrl pervaiz musharaf?
then again how much was in the pakistan s accounts durring musharaf,s time & where all that went after zardari took the power?

As long as he sells policy without any guarantee of implementation ,it will be in line with practices/principles of French,English or Chankia Diplomacy,and it should also be OK with Pakistanis.
