I salute the people's bravery for standing up against the thugs, they were not detered despite severe threats.
...
MQM still have control, but since PTI won, it's going to be a thorn on MQM's side. NA-250 will allow PTI to gain a lot of influence in the city.
MQM should be punished badly but the reality is, PTI still has a long way to go.
If only free and fair elections could be held in other parts of Karachi, you will see the same results Insha'Allah.
Go to hell Altaf Hussain / MQM.
A victory is a victory. Going from 1 seat to 27 seats, plus getting the chance to govern KPK, PTI will show Pakistan what it is capable of.
I don't think so. You will see same results only if MQM boycott elections, you cannot deny the massive support MQM has in Karachi.
BTW How many NA seats does PTI have now? around 40?

1 to 27 seats gain from 2002-2013 is not a great deal of momentum. Yes they are getting chance to govern in KPK but that is because PML-N allowed them. If they hadn't, they could have easily joined hands with JUI-F, QWP + independents and formed their own. Some people are not to happy with the CM that Imran nominated. Some reports suggests he didn't pay taxes for 2 years and some question the slogan of 'change' since he was previously a member of PPP.
Again if you allow me to repeat. This is very good that PTI has won a seat in Karachi but still long way to go
True. Getting into Karachi was considered almost impossible and finally after Zahra Shahid's martyrdom, this has finally put a dint in MQM's thuggery in that city.
Some times such sacrifices are what awaken the masses. If leadership stands up, holds onto the truth and faces the consequences, then awam follows. This is how good leaders become great leaders. No matter how much pressure there is, one must always hold onto the good against evil.
