What's new

PTI was Danger to Pakistan, Pakistan wouldn't survive with them : General Bajwa

I agree but I differ on one area. The Shift in thinking of individuals HAS ALREADY HAPPENED IN MAJORITY OF PAKISTANIS IN THE PAST 8-MONTHS ! And already, as far as oversea Pakistanis are concerned, THE GROUP HAS ALREADY FORMED ! And it is a significant group consisting of millions and millions of Pakistanis. Even kids playing on the streets in Pakistan now know the true and ugly face of Pakistan Military.

This is a disaster of massive proportions for these ugly Generals who have sucked blood of Pakistan citizens since its independence.

Tide is turning now against the Army .
Good news .

PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said the allegations levelled by PTI chief Imran Khan against former army chief retired General Qamar Javed Bajwa were about violations of the Constitution, suggesting that the ousted premier could pursue his claims legally under Article 6 — high treason — against the former military head.

Abbasi made these remarks on Dawn News programme ‘Doosra Rukh’, which will air at 7pm today. The remarks from the ex-PM come a day after the PTI chairman called for an internal military inquiry against Bajwa for his alleged “admission” about being involved in the PTI government’s ouster.

The general’s version was published in a column by Javed Chaudhry recently, in which he termed the PTI “dangerous for the country” and that graft cases against Imran-era finance minister Shaukat Tarin were quashed with then-DG ISI Faiz Hameed’s assistance.

The former PML-N stalwart said Article 6 was clear about the alleged violation of the Constitution. It states: “Any person who abrogates or subverts or suspends or holds in abeyance, or attempts or conspires to abrogate or subvert or suspend or hold in abeyance, the Constitution by use of force or show of force or by any other unconstitutional means shall be guilty of high treason.”

@blain2 @Signalian ....it seems Bajwa interview is going to backfire. He should be remained silent like any other COAS after retirement. More the talk more he gets in trouble.

.
Bajwa hasn't done anything different just got bad name.
It's core commander that decide what needs to be done.
Just like how communist party decides in china
ARTICLE 6 against all Corps commander.

سچی جمہوریہ فوجستان

But they are worst hypocrite.
Shun hypocrisy and take over overtly like mayanmar, Egypt, Mali, Sudan, Chad.

Surprise ⚠️
Ethiopia is developing 10+annually after elected governments.

فوجستان زندہ باد۔

.
Why make the deal with the devil and ask for favors if this is so undemocratic
Why break you own fking OATH in first place ?

I don't give two hoots about what happened with FJ as it was a different time under a different character.
Typical shit toxic mentality justifying what self-proclaimed Burma campaign bhgora did to her !! Its no wonder All khakis Chaddis of Highest Brass are the lowest in terms of ther character, majority 99%

Guilty onscience.
Does not matter how much he hides his crime something stings.

was no fan of the FM for many other reasons
The fact that you and others like you are ok with what has happened in the Past is a living example of how people have accepted and will continue to accept that Khaki chaddis going as low as they want, Wheeas Hwen jawans were fighting in 71 The Infamous Yaha khan was spending nights with Bnagla and Pakistani women, A true womanizers and yet he was responsible for the breakup of Pakistan, but nothing ever happened to him, why ? Coz of Nations of Begharats, with Khaki chaddis of Highs brass Begharat ofHigest Orders and the one supporting them are even worse

Does not matter how much he hides his crime something sting
It's typical of this breed of incompetent Generals that once done or removed from the power act as if victims, by retiring into some foreign land

.
Seems like there is little doubt in Bajwa commiting treason. Question is what will be done about it.

.
I don't know Bajwa, nor do I have anything vested in his personality or image. I feel there is an anti-bajwa tide that is embroiling everyone in the establishment and that is neither right nor good for Pakistan.
It isn't good.. But it seems that instead of introspection, we have a doubling down.

. .
Grant that Gen Bajwa is a thinking man. The easiest thing for him was to ride out the PTI term and retire into the sunset. Yet, there were important imperatives that were getting into the way of his peaceful retirement.
He violated the constitution - nothing gives (or gave) this third class fat *** General and the rest of the hyenas in uniform the authority to manipulate and overthrow governments.

Stop justifying treason and criminal activity by the Pakistan Army.

Was anything "extra-constitutional" done here in sending the PTI government packing? You will say well some influencing at the behest of the establishment took place, right?

The other side says you formed this government using the same influences in the first place.

So was PTI's getting into the office not "undemocratic" as per the other side?

I won't argue with you about the military not having a role in any of this because it is indefensible. But I am also mindful of the ground reality and how things happened in the past 5 years. Perhaps the upside is that the nation won't tolerate any more engineering. That is good for Pakistan's democracy.
When will you stop being the establishments lapdog?
