PTI to stop operations in Balochistan

@forcetrip @muse

I share your concerns,however Imran is on record saying that 'Using the military ops is always there but as a measure of last resort.'

muse. PTI has strongly condemned attacks on those parties. We need to end active hostilities,calm things down and use force only when its really needee. COIN is a long painful battle, that is just a fact that has dawned on us. You are the one asking for 'local solutions' to prevent f.intervention.

@Icarus

I just want Imran to highlight how the military is being used right now. You do not think they are being used as a last resort? What resort is left when armed men hit lightly guarded checkposts? What talking should be done from that point? The outlying villages in Baluchistan can explain to you how they have become used to heavy handedness of the BLA. Even upto Hub chawki you can find truckers talking about how they are numb to this violence. You leave them they cry, you create checkposts they cry. We are losing a lot of time doing this talking thing. We might even start to lose land if we continue this path.

This is a done deal - we are being blackmailed by the TTP, bu the "selected" political parties and by the Army - each echos the other, you will note that the suggestion that Pakistan will destroy this enemy such that it will be erased from history itself, is a idea no serious person even considers - Of course our "HOPES" are that PTI and IK can bring the political situation in the country so that this duffer Army Chief does not keep complaining that his army cannot kill the enemy because his army does not have "unflinching" support of the masses, but REALITY is that is not going to happen, and the a new Chief may turn out to be an even bigger loser than the Duffer Kiyani.

Left with the Army's Punjabistan, the very idea of Pakistan will have been extinguished.
