Normally, you would be right but I think right now, the public is so charged, I think if elections are announced, IK doesn't need to divide and rule. Just take them out with one fell swoop.
The only problem I see going forward is going to be Faiz Esa.

And kahin aisa na ho ke with so much public anger, lene ke dene par jaen. After all, it's not Machiavellian politics that got IK here today, it's the opposite. It's not making a compromise that got him here and will take him further. Doing a deal will be shooting himself in the foot.

Prolonged campaign is not in PTI interest. The opposing forces in the establishment want to delay elections by creating a law and order situation in the country. Operation has been announced against the militants. You will see terrorist incidents increasing to justify imposition of emergency for one or two years. PTI has to move fast.

I think still he can have friends in the establishment like Sahir, PAF and PN chiefs restrained any political statement in NSC meeting declaration.

Perhaps, go after PMLN, 2nd tier corrupt leadership of PPP+MQM and spare Zardari for now. Let him pass away. Bilawal will be weak and can be countered. Distribute ISI power among PAF/PN too. End its political wing by controlling its budget etc. Punish DGC and DG along with IG, EC and caretaker setup. Why open all front at one time.

Yes, this is much better. Empower PN and PAF, Joint chief's office. Regulate ISI better. Dirty harry and the sector commanders must not be let off the hook at any cost. I, for one, am in favor of sending hafiz packing one day one, if the intent is to send a message.

Letting zardari die off is a good suggestion. PPP can still play the Sindh card so gotta be careful there and wait for weaker leadership.

I'd say, let EC off the hook maybe but put the absolute fear of God into the hearts of Caretakers and the current punjab police brass. Will go a long long way. Once police knows fauj can't protect them, and they are answerable to politicians only, they will stop their bgertis at the behest of fauj because politicians keep changing therefore there's only so much they'll do for politicians before they think about their future under the opposite set of politicians.

currently pti dont need ppp to win, if pti win from punjab in big number, kpk and few in karachi sindh then its pti can do changes in constitution, make laws so ppp will be insecure
