ISLAMABAD, (SANA): Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf has demanded Governors rule in Sindh under a non partisan governor who could restore peace in Karachi.

This was demanded by Akbar S. Babar, Vice President Information & Media Management, Zahid Hussein Kazmi, Chairman’s Media Advisor, Col. Younus Raza, CEC member, Ali Awan, Coordinater si-in Event in a press conference here on Friday.

The PTI has finalized the arrangements for the sit-in in front of parliament today (Saturday). The first in a series of Ramadan protests which are unprecedented in Pakistan’s history.

The protests would be led by the PTI Chairman Imran Khan. The schedule of events include Iftari, followed by Namaz and Tarawee to be followed with speeches and political skits by renowned artists.

The PTI leaders hoped that the sit-in would be a turning point in Pakistan’s politics. They said that the country is slipping into chaos and anarchy. It is the responsibility of all citizens to come out and demand the resignation of the present corrupt and inept government. Every day this government stays in power, Pakistan would further slip into anarchy.

The PTI Leaders said that the time has come for the Supreme Court to put its entire weight behind its decisions.

The government, including the PM is in contempt of the Supreme Court. The people expect of the Supreme Court to initiate contempt proceedings against the PM irrespective of any other considerations.

The PTI leaders stated that the death and destruction in Karachi is a result of the political mafias fighting to control the bhatta trade. The 3 political parties in government in Sindh have failed to provide good governance and instead destroyed the law enforcement agencies by politicizing them.

I wonder if Zardari would take the bait. Zardari considers himself as master manipulator that strategically positions his enemies to fall. On the other hand if PTI gives performance despite all the odds, they would have demonstrated their ruling capabilities.

this sort of "talk" makes things a bit odd for PTI.

IK out of his sincerity, boldness and willingness to work for the sake of people gave this statement in his typical flowing style, which is quite out of the box and out of proportionate solution to begin with, though constitution doesnot prevent a governor from outside the federating unit, yet viewing it politically it was an open offer "Aa bail mujhay mar" and critics like Nusrat Javed straightaway twitted "Asif Zardari must not miss this opportunity to make IK work under his authority", moreover, IK should know that its not that PPP, ANP, MQM cannot solve this, its just lack of political will and party interests that put the lives of millions at stake, which means very little for the status quo ruling class.

The PTI has condemned the PML(N) propaganda to malign the PTI Chairman Imran Khan and twist his statements.

In a press release, Zahid Hussain Kazmi, Media Advisor to the Chairman PTI stated that the PTI Chairman had offered a solution to the breakdown of law and order in Karachi by demanding that Governor’s rule should be imposed with an impartial person appointed as the Governor of Sindh. The PTI Chief had had made reference to honest and credible individuals who could restore the rule of law in Karachi.

Mr. Kazmi said that the PTI Chief had only stated in a television interview that solutions can be found to problems if the government is serious about it. How can politicians who patronize criminal elements restore peace in Karachi. The political parties ruling Sindh are responsible for inducting criminal elements in Sindh police. He said the only way forward is to remove the Sindh government and appoint a neutral Governor in Sindh with the full backing of the security agencies.

Mr. Kazmi said that at a time when Karachi is burning, the leader of the opposition Mr. Nawaz Sharif has left the country for Umra along with his family................

IK should take it as a challenge and accept it if its offered. Once PTI demonstrates its able to do something people will rally up behind it by the next elections. Sure things may get messed up and it may lose everything, but election win is not guaranteed good performance in Sindh would ensure an election win.

With Sindh and Punjab PTI can form the government at the center.

PML-N is angry because the majority in Punjab province are now supporting PTI and Imran Khan. No more will Punjabis support PML-N looters. The youth has woken up and the majority of Pakistan's population are under the age of 40.

Let the babas continue supporting PML-N, they will not get out of their beds on election day
