PTI govt’s decision of voting right to expats not in line with SC ruling: IHC

That is some very very clever headline manufacturing by the newspaper.

Through the High Commission / Consulate - just like all other normal functioning countries.

Again this is why the ECP exists, this point of yours is a moot because it's their job, just because it's not been done before doesn't mean it shouldn't be done.

How do you know they haven't visited Pakistan before? 6 Million overseas Pakistanis, many own properties in Pakistan, Businesses in Pakistan, have familial ties in Pakistan, send remittances to Pakistan... Why shouldn't they be allowed to vote?

What sort of logic are you expressing in your post?

If they can obtain an NICOP, they should be allowed to VOTE!

I give you 10 more minutes before you start banging your head in the wall after arguing with this guy :P

ECP has done a pilot project before this law but overseas Pakistanis didn't show interest.

There should be some criteria for voting in Pakistani elections,

1- No dual national
2- Has property in Pakistan
or has visited Pakistan in three years
or has immediate relatives in Pakistan

Does it also apply to people that have Iqama of other countries? Like Mian Nawaj Shrarti?

As per law of every other democratic country, if you are a citizen then you have the right to vote in that country.

Not allowing them to vote from where they are residing and forcing them to come to Pakistan to vote is depriving them of votes.

Islamabad High Court Lohar High Court ban gyi he ab ?
They r not Lohar High court, we always thought that they are under the influence of Noon league. Thats not the case. They are all working for one single entity and that is working for Pentagon. I believe with our institutions being compromised, we might be headed towards the plan of USA in which they floated maps of Pakistan divided into four parts. I mean what is stopping them now ? is there any institute that can come in the way ? The courts, Media, political system, and then "them"... all hell bent on and working exactly the way USA wanted them to so why would USA not implement their plan of dividing Pakistan ?
