PTI, JI election camps torched in Karachi

KARACHI - Unidentified terrorists set a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf election camp on fire in North Karachi.
According to PTI spokesperson, the unidentified miscreants attacked the PTI election office in North Karachi and set it on fire when the party workers were not there. Fire brigade vehicles reached the scene to extinguish the fire.
Separately, unidentified terrorists set on fire a Jamaat-e-Islami office in Nazimabad on Saturday.
According to police, the unidentified assailants burnt the office in Nazimabad No 2.
A JI spokesman claimed that it was the election office of his party. At the time of the incident, only one worker was present inside the office who was also tortured by the attackers. The furniture of the office was destroyed due to fire.
Karachi JI chief Hussain Mehanti condemned the incident and demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan and the caretaker chief minister to take notice of the incident. -

This means MQM accepts they they are responsible for these acts, not a good sign for a political party. I believe MQM should have fought their case in courts and within media. They should have continued their political fight by criticizing decision against them within customary limits. Politicians have much longer life than Generals and Judges, Bhutto's case is perfect example. Actually this is first time once MQM is facing this sort of pressure. Probably they are not feeling much threatened by JI or PTI, it's actually problem from within in shape of MWM which may dent major voter group of MQM and probably that is an X factor.
