PTI demands bat as election symbol

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded bat as an election symbol from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Previously, the ECP had turned down a PTI's request to be awarded scales as an election symbol and allotted it to Jamaat-e-Islami after hearing arguments from both sides.

The commission had suggested torch and hill as alternate symbols to the PTI.

Seriously, if you cant read should you be voting?

Even in America, you were either landowning person, who were always educated, or you didnt vote. Even after the "Every man is created Equal".
If you couldn't pass a literacy test you couldnt vote. Of course, unless you were white.

You can't focus your economic development by subsidizing every common necessity.
