Reading it is easy, interpretation and application depends on mental stability. Majority of mullahs are either psychopaths,sociopaths with either blood lust or power hungry and will skew the interpretation to further themselves and brainwash the masses and control them. This has been happening in all religions. Religion has nice stories of compassion and morality but thats about it. You apply it literally you will become uneducated buffoon not fit for purpose to provide for your family.

Wow I was thinking right. Just ask that papu pan wala to calculate zakat by his own then you will need alim. Share of property they will go to alim. These islamic scholar has years of study research on every hadees and ayat in what context its been given and in what circumstances.

If you ever use Quran with urdu translation word by word you wouldnt understand it thats why there are scholar who do tafseer of Quran.
