Naya Pakistan in the making...

. . . .
Something else that comes across clearly from this table. Pakistan's love to talk "Muslim", sleep "Muslim", eat "Muslim" and dream "Muslim" but the reality is anything but "Muslim". Forget about being part of one global ummah uniting 50 countries, dozens of ethnc groups and multitiude of languages from Morroco near Europe to Indonesia near Japan.

The reality is most Pakistan vote in clusters mostly around ethnic groups. Only PTI has managed to break that mould and even then it has a strong cluster. Take Karachi. Many people left India because they were minority Muslim in majority India. After having moved they find themselves in Karachi as a Muslims in Muslim majority Sindh. However they still are not happy and now vote along strictly ethnic lines thus exposing by fact the fallacy of the idea of Muslim majority offering them succour. From being a Muslim minority now they have begun to act as a ethnic minority. This pattern is also visible in other parts of the country.

But I wish more divisions so that all assemblies the similar numbers.
No. Just Punjab needs breaking up. At nearly 50% of the federation it simply is too large. If it is divided into two or three a balance will be achieved. Very rarely in any country do all federating units equal the same size. Look at India or USA. However one dominating the federation is major source of problems.

. .
PTI got representation from all provinces. Now it's heavy reponsibility on them work day and night. High expectations. First step should be police reforms.
Now, PTI is truly national party.
Pakistan just avoided a national disaster that might have turned in another replay of 1971. If PML-N had retained Punjab and Shebaz Sharif had returned to his citadel in Lahore we would have a PTI federal government in Islamabad locking horns with the largest province in Pakistan - Punjab. This PTI versus PML-N rivalry woould turn into a Islamabad versus Lahore tug of war. Soon this would start gaining ethnic undertones with a clear Pashtun versus Punjabi rivalry. This could have had the potential for major crisis.

Punjab must be divided to prevent this doomsday scenario ever becoming reality in the future.

Exactly. That's why PTI refused pmln goons setup another government in Punjab despite they winning a few more seats. After 5 years pmln would be completely wiped out in Punjab

.
This is so absurd that Punjab assembly has more seats than the national assembly. It is time for right sizing Punjab.

More seats = more loot maar to feed politicians.

Same goes for more provinces...Pakistan cannot have the burden of more provinces. If the land stays the same, useless to have more provinces for now.

PMLN will be wiped out by the mid-term. IK will call for it.

PPP will be cut to size when interior sindh operation is complete, which is about to start.

I have previously suggested abandoning the provinces all together and adopting a Scandinavian style structure: Strong central and local governments like communes. Provinces are not needed in modern day when information can be disseminated rapidly and securely. Provinces were need to create aggregates so the Calpih/King/Prime Minister could communicate with a a few governors or CM as it used to take a long time to send and receive orders...but today we have IT and secure networks...We don't need horses and pigeons or telegrams over wires. The most successful region is Scandinavia and it is doing great without provinces... Pakistan is geographically has the similar land area as whole of Scandinavia (Sweden, Denmark, Norway) though much higher population but this distribution was mostly done on area bases for communication and control.

There is no need for midterm elections unless there is a severe crisis of government which is highly unlikely

Will he then announce that he is actually from another galaxy who came to planet earth as part of a galactic takeover or something.. Oh the fantasies!

Bro how do we convey this to PTI leadership? They are sending experts to China and elsewhere to fix Pakistans economy. When will they send people to Scandinavia to learn some governance?

We can through our contacts in PTI. I will try and should try, we need more people to make a splash loud enough that they listen.
No harm in sending teams to China since it has brought a huge chunk of population out of poverty...definitely the largest number of people in all chronicled human history. But what I'm talking about is the administrative restructuring. Splitting of Punjab in two or three pieces is a temporary solution but it won't resolve all over issues..however it will result in equality and provincial harmony to a large extent but it would be a mistake to stop there.
