Great.
Put cut on everything, just concentrate on big things like Dams, education and law-enforcement first. Then we should look at new PSDP projects. 99% of the money spent on SPDPs get wasted.

Funds from other sectors were used to fund PSDP in the past, purely for political gains.

18 amendant sends 60% funds to provinces
Rest 30 out of 40% is spend on debt servicing and defence...only 10% is left

Its job of provinces to build roads not federation

Givt cant maintain a 6% fiscal deficit
Having said that PSDP is 700b this year not 177..
Govt brought it down from 1200b to 700b last year it was 667b..somehow PML had magical wand to produce another 800 billion rupees

Focus on Dam, education and avoid projects like train bus crap which can be dealt later.

Pakistan exports in 2012 were 25b while Bangladesh 22b now its 20 and 37 why?

Answer is power power power..cheap power (PMLN forget the world cheap)

Pakistan grows the cotton and gives it to vietnam and Bangladesh

Power is useless if its not cheap

We need dams...just 3 dams can help us replace allmost all power to renewable at current level had PPPP or PMLN simply accept WB proposal of dasu and funded bhasha dam from psdp today we would had cheap power to compete against bangaldesh ...instead we got orange metro at 300billion rupees (remember psdp share of bhasha dam is just 252b rupees!!!!!)

Electrical part can build via binds or investment later ..
Dasu was palgued by mismanagement delaying it for years

Each dasu bhasha and bunji produces 25twh with them completed pakistan will make 120twh via hydro (total current demand is 110tw)

They tried starting the smallest dam on the list (Mohmand) and then paid media made a hoopla about it. Good luck getting all of these other dams made.

Nearly all the projects are of punjab and rightly cancelled when the money for all those projects were directed to metro bus and train, nothing much left than.

But but but previous govt priorities were metro train and buses who doesn't even earn you a single penny.

Dasu and momand dam issues were solved by new govt ..so is bhasha dam..
Numbers are strong in center and army is supporting the govt...as long as this support continue all is well
I dont expect GDP crossing 4% in next 3 yrs due to massive fiscal adjustment needed

We are not only looking at doing immediate 3% adjustment but also looking at paying over 5% of circular debt..this alone means 2000 b rupees
