Provincial Minister of the Balochistan for Finance condemn the horrendous act of terrorism carried out at Gwadar

.
These activities need to stop, even if it means restricting access to certain ethnicities from sensitive installations. These activities are again becoming a nuisance and if it is indeed India behind them then damn our agencies for being unable to a) stop these activities and b) teach India a lesson in the same language but at a much larger scale!

Its a baloch problem . By blaming India , we are not actually putting the spot light on the real culprints i.e baloch.

This baloch problem is going on for decades now. India came into the picture within the last few years....

Was India there in 1970 s ? 1980s ? or 1990s or even early 2000s ?

As long as Pakistani leadership fails to target the real people behind this mess i.e baloch .... this will continue for another 3 or 4 decades.

I think we should simply eliminate the shitty Tribal and Sardar/Nawab etc., systems; wherever they exist.

Au contrar !

The current government like every previous government has a policy of legitimising Jirga, Panchayt etc as means of population control.

What you are advocating is a recipe of mass civil unrest.

I don't propose we do that overnight. However, for how long will we continue to legitimize the centuries old, obsolete, unfair and immoral traditions just for the sake of civil rest? We need to start phasing these out in favour of a just and true legal system.

Justice is conceived and concocted when advocated by "others".

What other way and means do we have? Desperate measures are required to ensure that our enemies are unable to harm our interests. I am so fed up of our vulnerability and each day I am getting bitter and bitter.
Frustration must not give way to thoughts that damage our unity as a nation. No ethnicity could be discriminated against. I think your focus needs reorientation. There should be talk of better intelligence gathering, investment in regional civil law enforcement setup. These are the things that would yield results. Discriminating against fellow Pakistanis on their own land would provide a supply of manpower to the enemy.

Please do not sow seeds of discord. The actions of an anti-state minority do not represent the Baloch majority that sees its future with Pakistan. The incompetence of security and intelligence infrastructure could not be blamed upon fellow Pakistanis who themselves are victims of terrorism (two kids killed in this cowardly terrorist attacks were Baloch). Balochs first did not see development in their province for the bulk of history, but today the influence of sardars is on the wane as an assertive Baloch middle class emerges, secondary tier urban centers begin taking shape (Balochistan has the highest urbanization rate in the entire country which means service delivery to people of Balochistan will become easier in times to come), the proxies want to scuttle the process of development to keep the resentment in the people of Balochistan alive. The enemy wants to target the progress of Pakistan and Baloch citizens of Pakistan alike. Recognize the enemy instead of seeing fellow Pakistanis as enemies. More importantly, address the elephant in the room i.e. pathetic performance of security and intelligence infrastructure. An entire division of the regular army was raised for the protection of the CPEC route and we are seeing terrorism in the CPEC lynchpin of Gwadar itself. Question the methods of the security apparatus that is repeatedly failing Pakistan, its citizens (the Baloch), and its allies (Chinese). Build pressure so the complacency that has set in goes away. Mammoth task and responsibility lie in front of intelligence apparatus in particular to thwart these attacks. Hold it accountable.
