Sikh empire also had muslim soldiers... Ranjit singhs daughters dowry was also given by muslim panjabi nobles (from modern day Pak).

Panjab itself was a muslim majority region putar.... Infact hoshiyarpur,Gurdaspur (which was a majority muslim distt),ambala,ludhyiana (63%),Jullunder (59%) etc had sizeable muslim population...!

In PAK they were a minority and in those basis the areas were given to Pak... But still today there are sikhs n Hindus in Pak Panjab ... Does indian punjab even have 0.1% muslims today?
