Secondly, police is not trained to fight "insurgent forces" such as Talibans etc. It is Army's job. That is why you see NATO/US military in Afghanistan and training Afghan forces...else, US police dept would've been training Afghans on how to take on Talibans lol...

Nope. Given safe passage to Pakistan. Security and medical care was also provided. India followed Geneva Convention protocols.

Well for one, they provided cost free labor to lay the Delhi-Meerut highway.

No they are not in Indian custody..we repatriated them back to Pakistan few months after the war..in a way saved those guys from getting strung from their balls by the Bangalis who were baying for their blood.
