Yet you ridiculously failed to mention that between 80-85% of executions in Iran are drug-related as Iran is Afghanistan's main route in drug trade towards Europe.

If we stop executing drug traffickers (and there is already a debate in parliament about that and will most likely be implemented in future) execution rates will drop drastically. Almost all other executions are related to homicide cases, sexual assaults and armed robberies (which is also punishable by death given the situation and scale).

Yeah because all of Iran's executions are completely uncontroversial. As if nobody has ever been executed in Iran for being homosexual or for having an affair or simply for being against the backward regime. But even if you were right the remaining 15% still makes like 130 victim which is still more than the avarage number of Saudi executions. Talking about ruining the image of Islam while living in the internationally acknowledged sponsor of worldwide terrorism. Hopefully all diplomatic relations will be cut (which is not likely given previous incidents). There is no difference between current Saudi leadership and Israel. Actually they are far worse, as they are degrading Islam in the name of Islam by killing Muslims and exporting that extremist ideology that has given the whole world a twisted image of Islam. 9/11, Paris attacks, San Bernardino attacks, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Taliban massacres in Pakistan and Afghanistan etc.

So if we don't have relations with Israel, no need to have relations with Saudis (especially with new idiots who are ruling there) either.

As a side note, I don't approve of doing any harm to embassies and some idiots in few numbers did it again. But I'm all for cutting diplomatic relations and maybe this incident will lead to that.
