Propaganda Against Pakhtoon by Geo News 20 to 28 mints

So if I was born in Kabul I would be an Afghan? If I was born in Tokoyo I would be Japanese?

If your ancesters were in Pakistan at the foundation of the state. So as your great grandfather moved from Kabul to Karachi before 1947, his children are Pakistani. If your great grandfather moved from Kabul to Karachi say in 1967, then no. Of course there are exceptions. But they are exceptional.

And most importantly it is Dil that matters to be a Pakistani.

If you were born in Japan, yes you will be a Japanese citizen, just like if you were born in UK you will be a British citizen. It is only muslim countries that don't give citizenship on birth, but still talk about ummah.

So what about the punjabis and urdu speakers that came over to Pakistan in the 1950s, howcome their kids are Pakistanis?

I am not taking about citizenship.
Japanese will never accept you as Japenese unless you have blood lineage. They would laugh at you if you considered yourself Japanese. The UK no longer gives citizenship just on the basis of birth; other things like parental citizenship is taken into account.

Tell me would I be accepted by Afghan society as Afghan if I was born in Kabul? NO! Would I be accepted as Pukhtoon if was born in Kandahar? NO! Not then and not now.

There are exceptions to this and the reasons need to be considered. Now with a hostile Afghanistan (pretty much since 1947), it would be prudent to scrutinize Afghans who wish to become Pakistani citizens.

The answer to your question is in your first line.....blood lineage. There is no race called Pakistani. I am Pukhtoon, so are my kids, and so will be there kids. It doesn't matter which country we are born we will always be Pukhtoons.

As for hostility with Afghanistan, yes they started it, they even attacked Pakistan at Bajjur and they were defeated by the Pukhtoon Lashkars. As i said in my previous posts the people are taught hatred for Pakistan through propaganda. The Afghan government has been preaching hatred from day 1. But that doesn't mean that all Afghans hate Pakistan as i also stated in one of my early posts in this thread

Going by your logic all punjabis and sindhis and urdu speakers are Indians even if they are born in Pakistan.

Punjabis and sindhis were born in their own land in punjab and sindh which are part of Pakistan now. Weird comparison.

. .
Well then howcome that logic doesn't apply to Pukhtoons?

It apply to pakhtuns lands which were part of Pakistan in 1947. It also apply to afghani pakhtuns who kept coming even after 1947 to Pakistan till 1979. But it obviously can't go on forever.

Ok thats abit fair and i thank you for being a bit mature compared to some other idiots here. I agree it can't happen forever, but we have a situation here that some people have been born and living in Pakistan for over 30 years, they are not involved in anything wrong and even their kids are born here. What about them?

.
I am in favour of harassing and abusing every anti Pakistani pakhtun, punjabi, muhajir , balochi and sindhi. If someone is against Pakistan then he is my enemy and I hate all those anti Pakistani afghan who play this pahstun card to save their ungrateful asses. They already created enough mess in pakistan in the name of sharing common culture and ethnicity with Pakistani pashtun

Majority our Pashtun are very patriotic but sadly there is another small fraction who is involve in terrorism, anti Pakistan activities and then there are those who are more loyal to afghanistan than Pakistan. You cannot justify the terrorism of TTP or any such anti Pakistan element simply because they are pashtun. If there is any punjabi who involve in anti Pakistan activity then i will suggest to hang him

Many political parties in Pakistan will not agree to that. Especially the ones in Balochistan and Sindh. Also relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan is probably also one of the main reasons now days. Pakistan have only now gotten serious about registration of afghanis in Pakistan and in process some local Pakistani pakhtuns are also affected by it. Like I was reading this piece today about some issue local pakhtuns face in Lahore.

"Many CNICs were issued fraudulently to Afghan refugees by showing them as relatives of local Pashtuns in ID card records. But this was done without the knowledge of the people whose cards were being used for this purpose.”Asghar says Nadra officials have acknowledged the fact that some Afghan refugees had obtained Pakistani CNICs in this way.

In one case, for instance, a shop owner in Auriga Complex had 70 children, as per Nadra record. “What had happened was that the copy of his identity card had been used many times to show a non-genuine person his relative. This was more common and easy when the records were maintained manually and the existing sharing of computerised data was not introduced.

There is another case where a girl, Sobia Sharif, has not been able to get her CNIC issued. She lives in Daroghawala. Her ancestors had migrated from Mohmand Agency in the 1950s. The reason for inordinate delay, she says, is that 13 suspicious CNICs have already been issued on the basis of her father Muhammad Sharif Khan’s CNIC. Her CNIC cannot be issued till this issue is resolved. A person shown to be her sibling in Nadra records is older than her father. “If this can happen right under the nose of Nadra anything is possible,” she says."

Yes but when the state was established in 1947, a person now can have blood lineage to Pakistan. Just like an American can have blood lineage to 1776 (of course their laws are different) or a Briton can have blood lineage to 1707 (of course their laws are different) or a Italian can have blood lineage to 1861 ( I am sure their laws are different) or a Saudi can have lineage back to 1932. A Pakistani can have blood lineage to 1947. (Of course their are exceptions but they should be exceptional).

No of course not all Afghans hate Pakistan however since as a nation Afghanistan has been exhibiting hostility, Pakistan needs to be careful in vetting who can come over from Afghanistan.

I am in favour of harassing and abusing every anti Pakistani pakhtun, punjabi, muhajir , balochi and sindhi. This is the crux. The Afghan enemy knows that he can use the Pukhtoon card to slip into Pakistani society relatively unnoticed. Pakistan cannot let sensitivities blind her to this threat. Her safety is at stake.

. . .
The letters that were being circulated stated Pukhtuns, not Afghans, not Uzbek, not Hazaras, not Tajiks......it said to report all Pukhtuns to the police station.

People that are in favour of this stupidity...........well there are no words to describe them. People that are defending this, they are the biggest traitors of Pakistan.

If the intention was to check Afghans, then it should have been stated Afghan on the letter. a smart move would have been to get Pakistani Pukhtuns to report Afghans, we can tell if a person is Afghan Pukhtun or Pakistani Pukhtun by their accent.
Bro, the small pamphlets that were distributed in a local area was unauthorised and unofficial. These small things happen (and i'm extremely against it) but you can't say Punjab is discriminating Pashtuns now. I've lived in Punjab for a decade, nothing like this has ever happened. The people behind the 'letters' are most likely facing charges and the Government has already cleared this issue up.

Plus why would Pakistan be so foolish to play into the enemy's trap? Perhaps there was something sinister.
