Problem with Private Message and Thanks

1.I may be missing it,but I can't find an option to PM anyone (including mods)
2.I can't find thanks button on PDF Mobile (using opera)

on opera click on the bottom right end(fiddle around a bit i.e. up and down),there is an invisible like button there,it becomes visible on being pressed..
