If you uave follow closely on my comment, what the rebel want is not exactly what the russian wanted. Or otherwise they would have annexed Eastern lart of Ukraine already.

Problem for Russia is, they are not set out to feed another 10 millions mouth while the Russian is holding on as it is. The influx of Eastern Ukrainian would in effect induce another "East German situation" to West Germany.

For Russia, they want the border like they are used to be, but for the Rebel, they wont accept nothing less than full independence. Thats is the problem for Russia right now.

And the war is going to drag on, you will see a seesaw pattern developing but the line will probably stay where they were.

If you read Minsk agreement points then you will understand.

This will mean thsat our leaders wont be able to lift off the sanctions against Moscow even if they wanted(pressure by our industrialists/businessmen), Russias economy will keep on pcontracting and in recession. It is even forecasted that due to the sanctions and oil prices, Russia might fall out of the the top 10 economies before the end of this decade, India will likely surpass them by next year or maybe even before the end of this year.lool They are only putting themselves into more trouble, while we all benefit from low oil prices. Its indeed a good deal for us to be honest. Moscow is now in a deep trap it doesnt know how to get itself out from. Its like a lose-lose situation, since theirr frontline soldiers in Eastern Ukraine cant win the war without Moscows direct intervention, So the sanctions will keep on biting.....Good for other developing countries like India, China, etc who will get better deals with Moscow as they will now have more leverage in dealing with them. So Moscow is the one that stands to lose far more than any other European country by continuing to support its seperatists/militants in East Ukraine. If you had talked about East Asian countries like China and Japan , then yes i would have been worried since these two have quite a considerable amount of trade., But India cant change much in the so called 'dedollarisation'.
