US pissed off its most important allies in the region, KSA, Turkey and the Gulf oil countries by not taking action at the time. It makes no sense that it was all a tactic to delay the fight just so they could attack the same enemy

Sorry I have to disagree. The Gulf countries have been openly sending arms into Syria. If anything the introduction of ISIS has given legitimacy to Assads claims that the opposition to him is made up of foreigners and terrorists.

Many people think ISIS is Assads play, as he has not been attacking them directly and in fact swelled their ranks by freeing AQ prisoners to join them. I suspect that the truth is somewhere in the middle and everyone is trying to use the ISIS madmen to their advantage.

ISIS members are genuine believers in jihad and the caliphate, I don't think they are all Mossad as people claim.

Shit like this is why White Europeans whether Russian, British, German etc will end up uniting in the long run, nationalism isnt that strong in western Europe but its growing and it is fairly strong in the East but alot of average citizens see things like this and rightly or wrongly make an assumption. No, really no, not unless you want Germany to become a war zone. Shooting at both sides will create a panic, people will get more violent and desperate and molotovs will start flying. Bad idea. I agree that they should leave their politics behind (which, by the way, has nothing to do with medieval stuff) when they move anywhere.

I am a bit sceptical of the "pro-ISIS mob" thing, it seems to be more like a Kurds vs Turks problem and not "Pro ISIS mobs", but since I wasn't there, I can't really tell.
