Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Aero India 2015, the biennial air show hosted by the Defence Ministry in the country’s aviation hub Bangalore.

The Prime Minister’s presence has already electrified the organisers as it has boosted the response from the leading aviation companies of the world.

The highlight of the air show, to be held next month, will be the “Make in India” summit in which bigwigs of the global aviation industry are likely to participate.

This is the first time the event will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.

For the aviation enthusiasts, the show will have number of aerobatic teams from abroad. The show till now was inaugurated by the Defence Minister but the bar has been raised now.

F-16, Hornet F/A-18E, MiG-29, MiG-35, Eurofighter EADS, Rafale from France, Super Hornet, India's Su-30MKI, Russia's MIG35 and AN12, C-17Globemaster 3, Chinook, Apache, MK-132 Typhoon, Globemaster C-13 heavy lift, CJ-135 Hercules transport, Boeing P-8I maritime aircraft, Light Combat Helicopter, Advanced Light Helicopter, Russian Su-30, Jaguar, and more! Commercial airplanes will also be on display, including the 787 Dreamliner! The B-777 and B737 will also be there.

295 Indian and 29 international companies from 78 countries will display their latest aircraft. Come see the stellar displays of spectacular flight maneuvers by Indian and overseas pilots.

Public Viewing of the exhibits is restricted the first three days, 9th-11th February.

TICKETS available at Forum, Garuda, and Mantri Malls and State Bank of India branches at ADE, Electronic City, Indiranagar, Jayanagar 2nd Block, JP Nagar, Koramangala, MG Rd, Malleshwaram, Rajajinagar, RT Nagar, Whitefield, and Yelahanka New Town.

FOOD AND WATER, BAGS, PAGERS, etc. ARE NOT PERMITTED inside the Air Show premises. Food stalls at various price ranges will be available, as well as water vendors. Surrounding businesses will not be open during the show.

ENTRY IS RESTRICTED to Invited Registrants. Entry requires valid photo ID and security check. Attendees must wear business dress or uniform. Any disruptive behavior or falsifying/withholding registration information may be cause for refusal of entry. Unauthorized entry may lead to prosecution.
