Price of petrol drop by Rs 5.90 per litre (Rs 78/litre now)

ISLAMABAD: The price of petroleum products will decrease further ushering in some much needed relief for consumers at the start of the New Year.

Owing to a decrease in the price of the commodity in the international market, POL prices have decreased for two consecutive months in Pakistan.

In January a new decrease is expected to be implemented which will see the price of petrol drop by Rs 5.90 per litre. The price of diesel is to decrease by Rs 11 while kerosene oil will decrease by Rs13.50.

A summary for the price decrease will be issued on December 29.

Well, if OP price of OIL is in pkr (other regions) then government is wasting billions/trillions of rupees, which can be used to narrow the deficit/increase GDP/ start development project.
my suggestion to government is to bring the oil price equal to LDC or regional countries.
afterall the money is going to used for public benefit.
