Moscow—According to Russian daily Novaya Gazeta, Mr. Dmitry Peskov ,the press spokesman for the Russian President, lambasted the Saudi regime in his weekly press conference for sowing terrorism and backing al-Qaeda inspired guerrillas throughout the crisis-hit Syria.

"the Saudi leadership clings to power and hope they can possibly impede the inevitable collapse of their primitive, barbaric and inhumane political system by targeting the stability and welfare of other neighboring nations," Pravda quoted the Russian official as saying on Monday.

Earlier, the Russian president emphasized that his country can't remain at rest vis-à-vis the Saudi mischievous interference in Syria which blocked any Syrian-Syrian peaceful settlement.

" …Russia will defeat Saudis in Syria which became the epicenter of their [Saudis] malevolent plots. It is imperative for all Syrian parties that believe in a peaceful resolution for their country's five-year civil war to sit down at the negotiation table and denounce the Saudi destructive role," said President Putin, adding that Russia will bomb Saudi Arabia back to the Stone Age life when nomad Arabs were in the habit of living in tents unless the regime gives up assisting radical terrorists in the Middle-East.

The Russian President added that strong actions against Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) are justified and crucial due to the fact that Saudi-backed ISIS poses a major international security threat. At the same time, the international community should be under no illusion about the detrimental and suspicious U.S.-Saudi alliance.

Saudi Arabia has always supported us on the Kashmir stance; but Iran didnt not specify about supporting us - only said that they support the 'liberation efforts' ; mainly because of the Shia persecution in the province.

1947: Saudi Arabia opens relations and immediately begins supporting Pakistan's Kashmir stance. Also heavily criticizes India.

1960's: Saudi Arabia begins funding construction for Islamabad (despite lacking a proper economy)

1965: Saudi Arabia along with allied countries gave six naval vessels, jet fuel, guns and ammunition, and financial support to Pakistan during 1965 war despite having a bad economy (at that time). Barrels of oil are also given. Iran allows Pakistani jets to be refueled in their territory.

1970's: Massive financial contributions are made by Saudi Arabia, in response; Pakistan names Lyallpur to Faisalabad in honor of King Faisal.

1971: Saudi and Jordan F-104s and F-86s are sent into west Pakistan for combat role. F-5s are also sent into Pakistan to train the pilots on how to handle Arab Aircraft. Squadrons are sent to reinforce the western front. Several Saudi and 6 Jordan F-104s were shot down. Saudi Arabia also began trickling in Naval Forces closer to Pakistan but did not engage in any combat roles. Saudi Arabia supplies oil barrels.

1998: Pakistan tests its nuclear bomb, code-named Chagai. Saudi Arabia and UAE are the only countries in the world to support and back Pakistan on these tests and congratulate Pakistan. Saudi Arabia pledges 50,000 free barrels of oil a day if sanctions are placed upon Pakistan.

2000's: Investments grow significantly, Saudi Arabia begins providing support for Kashmiri Mujahideen

2001: Saudi Arabia assures financial and military support to Pakistan during the 2001 standoff. Saudi Arabia also sends a segment of its navy to its coastal boundary.

2004: Saudi Arabia begins distancing itself from the Taliban after several attacks are made on Pakistan.

2008: Saudi Arabia assures support to Pakistan during the 2008 standoff.

2010's: Saudi Arabia begins to develop plans to expand bilateral cooperation in trade, education, real estate, tourism, information technology, communications and agriculture. Aid and economic assistance begins to dramatically increase. KSA improves Pakistan's trade relations with GCC leading to trade to hit 11 billion dollars.
