Major foreign policy blunder for Obama.

Is there anything that this guy is capable of doing? What a fool

I hope American public flushes him down the toilet, come 2012.

But oh no.....the American public is busy locating their country on the world map.

One drone gets you guys so excited... no wonder you guys have a warped sense of " measuring victory".... Us has a 10: 1 kill ratio, but we got your drone - we win! :drag:

.
lol, anyone who really believes it was shot down or malfunctioned has half a brain!.

i would give more credit to it being hacked by iran, however in saying that, the US would of allowed it to be hacked.

either that or they landed it on purpose, hence why it in perfect condition.

the iranians can thank the US for a gift with this, but you just never know, it might just be a trojan horse ;););)

after all, the usa seems concerned, but they are not that concerned.

Debka, the Israeli intelligence outfit, is reporting that the Russians are strongly suspected of helping Iran land this drone, with their "electronic bag of tricks".

DEBKAfile's sources report that the Israeli prime minister's decision to sent Lieberman post-haste to Moscow to intercede with Putin followed intelligence tips which indicated to Washington and Jerusalem that the Russians may have played a major role in Iran's capture of the RQ-170 on Dec. 4. They are suspected of even supplying Iran with the electronic bag of tricks for downing the US stealth drone undamaged.
If that is so, it would mean Moscow is deeply involved in helping Iran repel the next and most critical stage of the cyber war that was to have been launched on the day the US UAV was brought down.
DebkaFile - Nuclear knowhow, S300 are Iran's price for Russian, Chinese access to US drone

This would be much more believable, with all due respect. Our Iranian neighbors do have a tendency to make some rather steep claims. I guess it's not too bad of a thing, if their intention is to cheer their people up. This was a modern stealth UAV. Even older drones use very sophisticated encryption technologies and communicate in short bursts to deny opportunities for "sniffing". Russia and China do seem to possess the Electronic Warfare sophistication to help pull something like this off. Though the Iranian generals are claiming they did this on their own and that they are not so far behind the US in Electronic Warfare, they did get hacked very badly. Both Russia and China did hack and steal terabytes of data pertaining to the F-35 program.

I hope our Iranian friends do get S-300s in exchange for letting Russia and/or China take appart the drone, as the Israeli outfit reports, that is what they're most afraid of. Because they've been talking and talking about attacking Iran for half a decade now, and something like the S-300 would make such an attack much more costly.

how do they have a 10:1 against Iran? elaborate.....

sactions yes, politically yes (they have Iran isolated)....but militarily? Well it's like chess. If the bishop moves diaganolly to capture a rook, he must watch to ensure the rook on the other side isnt waiting (assuming the layout of the pieces at the time allows for that)

US/NATO/israel/etc. cant attack Iran without Iran inflicting economic and some military pain on the formers' interests.....mining the Hormuz alone is one leverage they have --and that can send oil prices sky-rocketing.

that's the main reason why they are treading slowly on Iran, they've been talking about attacking them for years (saying "plan is on the table" or "all options are available" etc etc)

politically, this is obviously embarassing for obama admin, they have no idea how to respond to it....me personally, i'd be happy if Iran would allow Chinese engineers to examine the christmas gift, maybe purchase a few samples of some of the components.....i wouldnt mind having a stealth uav

Pres. Ahmadinejad now believe in SANTA CLU i guess

Dude you talk a lot of big game, but for the one you hate so much - you are nesting comfortably in it's bosom . I'd be happy when someone realizes in the US, that we have allowed a radical into it. Yes, you told us that you are studying in the US. And I have your daily rants against the US, pure hatred. I have never got it, how low can one be that they go seeking the country they despise, it's arms to nestle in. You guys no integrity lol

What do you want me to explain ? That a country like Iran that could not win a war in 7 years vs Iraq, would be a cake walk for the US. You think this garbage navy they have will last 30 secs into their mining operation?
