Former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Gen Hamid Gul met with Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Monday, Express News reported.
Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N have been busy forming political alliances ahead of next year’s general elections.
Gul is also one of the founding members of the religio-political Difa-e-Pakistan Council (Defence of Pakistan), a group which claims itself to be working for the protection of Pakistan. The DPC has on its roster the likes of Jamatud Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed and Ahle-Sunnat wal Jamaat’s Malik Ishaq.
Gul has been vocal against improving ties with India.
In late October, Pakistan Muslim League-Zia (PML-Z) chief Ijazul Haq had also announced he would join the PML-N.

A man like Lt. Gen. Hamid Gul who is widely respected by Pakistanis as a patriot, should not go beyond meeting this joker.

To my knowledge, he never participated in elections and most Pakistanis do respect him, this is what I have experienced when I saw him at Liberty Round About, Lahore, last year. I speak of him being a true patriot, keeping in view his service to the Nation, and since I'm free of any shackles by any terrorist party of Karachi, or from Tsunami or PML-N or PPP or whoever, I decide freely without any political bias.

Nice to see pakistanis like you, but sometimes these old folks go to far, where even their patriotism hurt the nation!
But yes he is a patriot with a lot of undevlopable things in his mind, I also respect the guy durring my time in the army tht time he was retired already but has the memory of a hawk.
I think he is delivring some shutup calls now!
