【环球网报道记者 徐亦超】据台湾“中时电子报”1月17日报道，一向以街头插五星红旗闻名的中华爱国同心会，首度把五星红旗移到民进党中央前华山艺文公园，由于今日(17日)下午台湾地区领导人蔡英文将赴党部参加中常会，将经过这片100面的五星旗海，还有“中国一定强”、“八百壮士”等爱国歌曲“迎接”。颇为滑稽的是，现场警方立即拿出10面台当局的“青天白日满地红旗”反插回去，并称，“总统要经过，都是五星旗不好看”。

民进党中央党部对面的华山艺文公园，在民进党执政后，现在已成为知名陈情抗议区，每逢周三民进党中常会，也都有些零星抗议活动，不过这是首度被插满五星旗。今天民进党部前公园，有如插满五星旗的西门町街头再现，爱国同心会不仅搭帐棚、吃便当，还挂上“两岸一家亲”、“只要对台湾人民好坚决支持一国两制”等标语，台湾“爱国同心会会长”周庆峻表示，这次他们准备了一百面的五星旗。

台媒称，执勤警方原本带10面，因为100面比10面，悬殊太多，看到“爱国同心会”车上还有面“青天白日旗”，立即跟正在陈情抗议的爱国同心会说，“这支借我们一下啦!”随后变成100面比11面。

由于今天下午台湾地区领导人蔡英文会经过公园前北平东路，警察也越来越多，还有人挥舞大面五星红旗，除了“对台独、反对战争”，也抗议蔡英文，“什么都涨，就是薪水不涨”。

在今年元旦，金门最著名的老街“模范街”两岸旗海飘扬，引来不少两岸游客驻足参观。不少游客对此元旦即景感叹道，“两岸一家亲的感觉好亲切”。有“模范街”的店主表示，“如今两岸关系缓和，时代已经改变，过去严肃的意识型态也应走入历史，两岸只要和平、不要战争，应以更宽阔、轻松的心情，来看待两岸的交流才对”。

而去年也有“台独”分子在网络上提案，要求“增设刑法条文禁止中国五星旗在台湾公开悬挂、展示、陈列出现”，台法务部门1月3日作出回应，称提案“不予采纳”。

对此，国民党前“立委”孙大千称，禁挂五星红旗如同向全世界宣告台湾对五星红旗的恐惧与矛盾;台湾可以接受开放旅游、商业贸易、文化交流，却害怕五星红旗，这个逻辑说得通吗？他质问，如果五星红旗这么危险，应详细让台湾人知道危险在哪里，不然只是利用“爱国主义”去吓唬自己人的烂招。

I guess the good and right thing is following where the money is... which is mainland China, despite whatever the government run the island. Smart Taiwan government should follow the money too!

As long as Taiwan does not declare independence, I think mainland China should leave Taiwan alone.

Taiwan has full access to the American and European markets. With complete access to Western markets and universities, Taiwan is plugged into the latest technological developments.

If China were to reclaim Taiwan today, the Han people would lose their connection to all the latest developments in the West.

The system of a separate Taiwan (with full access to the West) and China has worked well for 70 years (1949-2018).

I think the dichotomy of Taiwan and mainland China should stay in place for 30 more years. By 2049, China would have fully modernized. Reclaiming Taiwan in the future is a lot smarter than taking Taiwan now. China still needs a conduit to Western universities, corporations, and technologies.

A Taiwanese can work for any Western corporation or Pentagon contractor. A mainland Chinese probably would not pass a security check. Thus, reclaiming Taiwan today is disadvantageous technologically to mainland China.

Don't try to change the system when it can adversely affect your position. Taiwan is a useless rock. Leave it in place for another 30 years as long as independence is not declared.

I guess that's also the thinking on Mainland side. Only if the Taiwan side really pushes for de jure separation, then, China would not have any option because no other interest can trump over sovereignty-related interests.
