South Korea or North Korea ??

North Korea is Isolated, Poor and no connection with Outside World. Miltary rule has ruined the whole country. South Korea with Democracy is one of the fastest growing economy with complete freedom. The Difference between 2 countries is like USA and Mexico.

There is no Alternative for Democracy. Yes, it has some fault like Bad Leaders. Even US has few bad President. But At least you can change if things goes wrong. Also, you have complete Freedom. But Military ruler is disaster. Check History and even present dictatorship in middle-east like Libya. Not only 90% countries don't like but it becomes great risk of giving all power to 1 permanent leader. Although, I think Musharraf was good leader But Still, Military rule is too big Risk.

No one in their right mind would want to serve under a military rule. We need to be in purgatory to rejoin the human race. That does not mean democracy will not be achieved, it means that we need to correctly function as a state before explaining to its people that freedom does not mean to loot and plunder your own house. bah .. its useless .. if words could bring change then "Allah day ga"

Well, I agree Democracy has its own problem. You ask anyone from any country with democracy. All will say I don't like our government. Even I don't like our Congress Crap government. Although People of Pakistan really hate Zaradari more than any other country.

But it looks easy to Stand behind Camera rather than Standing in front of Camera. Government has some compulsion, political reason, wrong people and so on. Those who talk about Politics on Internet, they don't Vote. Those who really Vote who don't know why they are Voting to such parties. But still, Country will continue with some problems.

Ask any American, 99% people don't like their government.

There are some disadvantages, But with maturity of Democracy things will change. No Other Alternative actually. Risk is too Big in Dictatorship. Remember Hitler and Saddam Hussain. All power should not be given to Single person. it could be big advantage but risk is too big to take.

I dont see anything left to risk. We cannot afford to be where we are headed in this severe financial crisis the world over. I sold everything to be in my country and thought things would change and that I would be an instrument in making a difference. I am scared to have children because of what "Allah day ga" population is set to find out in the next few years. The irony is that they are producing babies to smash against the grind. Atleast I am covered, I have a different country to escape to and my children will lead happy fulfilling lives. What will these people have??
