Possible Solution For FC Balochistans Ambush problem.

Question to OP, do you want ambushes to keep happening and just try to keep minimal damage during them or to prevent ambushes at all?

Could this enable FC B to lower casualty rate in ambushes by providing some sort of autonomous or remote controlled less manned or unmanned vehivle/UGV to patrol the remote desolate areas??

One socio-economic solution is to bring education, oppurtunity, jobs and oppurtunities in Balochistan, Sindh and KP/FATA to end these constant woes our nation has been facing. For this I believe resettlement of population from overly crowded Punjabi cities and Karachi is key.
Sounds good. Wont work. The only practical and financially viable thing we can do is get atleast 7.62 protected vehicles. Everything other than that is a dog and pony show.

Care to expand upon your thoughts??
Bhai I have explained many times especially in threads related to FC or MRAPs. I will tell in few simple words.
1. Mission planning (everything starts here)
2. Equipment allocation
3. QRF support
4. Execution.
5. Completion.

If soldiers embrace shahadat, one or multiple factors mentioned above have failed.

Balochis (not all) have felt betrayed and have resentment against GOP and Military. These are civilians living in urban areas. If FC starts showing up in tanks (MRAPs), these people will feel further alienated. You understand that a UN soldier wearing a beret seems more friendly than the one equipped with body gear and big steel helmet. Winning hearts and minds of local population is significant for the cause. The miscreants can vanish in mountains and urban areas. The locals know about their areas very well be it mountains or lakes or desert or oasis or roads or streets or buildings. The local sardars have their own political agendas and games. Then Iranian and Afghan Govts have their own enmity with Pakistan, while their lands are being used by other countries (namely India and then others) for creating unrest in Pakistan. Pakistan's own policies in Baluchistan and under utilization of land in this province needs to be looked at.

Before you say that MRAPs are necessary and they save lives, yes correct, but MRAP is just one part of this whole god damn mess.

Any insurgency with local support is very difficult to control.
Hearts and minds, thats the only way. Stop treating it like a security problem and start owning the issues faced by the locals.
And before you start blaming India again, this insurgency is present from the 50s.

What are you trying tp imply here? That there was no India in 50s or Afghanistan?
The 50s India was one of massive famines and food rationing. We were receiving food aid from the west.
As per nehru, the police was enough to man our borders , no army required. China proved him wrong.
We dont realize how bad things were in the 40s 50s and even 60s.
Lifespan of a average Indian was 29 years in 1950.
Last thing in our mind to interfere in a area not analogous to us

Solution is to achieve Indian casualties in Afghanistan, every time there is an attack on the FC.
100 percent agree. Unless the pain is felt in the source of terrorism, it will continue to breed it. The Indians are paying not a single price for this at this time. It has to be made painful.
