I basically summarized all the leak information from the CD forum.

Those are not leaks, they are speculations on what China's hypothetical aircraft carriers might be like.

No real reliable sources. But I've heard that we're not going to research steam catapult at all and go straight from ski jump to EM.

Will China be skipping the Midway, Forrestal and Nimitz Class. I think you should be happy if China can create a Forrestal class or a Nimitz Class carrier.

The Nimitz class carriers are indeed great, but since China has been working on electromagnetic catapult for almost 20 years, once the nuclear reactor is ready, why not aiming at the best supercarrier instead?

There is rumor that Type 052D gonna equip with lasergun, so maybe it will be used for Aegis ABM defence.

And Type 051D gonna use for carrier escort, so it should have been powerful in both air defence and anti-submarine warfare.

Type 051C is already over 7000 tons in full load, and i think Type 051D would not be less than 8000 tons.
