This is kind of low-quality video but well-worth watching. Especially inspiring is Mr. Jameel Yousuf of Citizen-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) starting minute 12.
Karachi needs to reduce the crimes. Perhaps even worse than the more violent, typical huge-city crimes are the abundance of relatively 'petty' crimes like stealing cell phones at gun-point (I did say, 'relatively'!).

[Pakistanisage]

Karachi generates over half of the Revenues for Pakistan. It was Pakistan's first Capital and it should be made a FEDERAL ADMINISTRATIVE TERRITORY. It should be a city open to all of Pakistan's citizens. and the city should be developed as the Financial hub of Pakistan.

Oh, what 'Steve' book is Fauzia Wahab referring to around minute 9 about Karachi?

I agree about Umar Sharif comment; I too thought he was just a 'chichora' comedian but he sounds so mature and even philanthropic (building a hospital in Orangi). Kudos.
