Police case against Assam Muslims for writing poetry in their dialect

Bangladeshi
Bangladesh is an insignificant speck of dust nestled in the armpit of NE India, you people have the distinction of being bossed around by various groups since time immemorial.
Both Bengali Muslim or Hindus of Assam are Indian.
Most definitely, there is an spurious admixture of the legals and illegals. And we will sent the miya aliens over to their Shonar Bangla.
If they ever become Bangladeshi citizen it will come with the land.
Yeah, we will start with your Sylhet, Mymensingh and CHT and rehabilitate the illegals there.

Nice to see these Miyas finally come out of the closet, they have been pretending to be Assamese for so long, unlike their Bangladeshi Hindu counterparts.
A group of people living in Assam for centuries belongs to that state of India. Are the Miyas wrong in assuming a correct Assamese identity? Now, tell me something about the overtaking of Assam by the 7,000 male-only Chinese from southern China in around 1150s, only 50 years before Bakhtiar conquered Bengal. These Chinese married Manipuri women and became at the political forefront who were later called Ahoms.

So, why not these Miyas? Shall it not Miya Muslims be treated as Assamese as well? Assamese hate them because the Miyas work hard when the Assamese spend lazy time and do almost nothing. By tradition, they produce fewer children and abstain from sex.

It is quite opposite for the Muslims. They marry multiple wives and produce many children. The demography is changing that has alarmed your Hindutwa devils, and now the Miyas are from BD. Why do not you then expel the descendants of those Chinese as well? Why a heinous double standard?

@Atlas, @Bengal71

Instead of thinking on Bangladesh start thinking about you living as minority under Bengalis. You lot are no longer in a position to dictate anything. Already more than 10 million has become legal. BJP will make sure Bengali Hindus who are left out become legal. In between you lot become f**ked up.

Your knowledge of Ahom history is shallow, contrary to what you try to project. To point it out, you are confabulating various aspects of Ahom history scattered across centuries to mix and match as per your own convenience. What you write about the Ahom-Manipuri martial relations happened centuries later. In the intervening period we were engaged with the Kacharis, Sutiyas etc. Please don't try to mislead people. Assam is not only about us Ahoms, it has a glorious past and a succinct distinction from you Bongals for most of the time.

So, why not these Miyas? Shall it not Miya Muslims be treated as Assamese as well? Assamese hate them because the Miyas work hard when the Assamese spend lazy time and do almost nothing.
Stop telling lies that we do nothing, the social structure of our time the paik system was more advanced than your Bangladeshis in your areas. Miyas are an integral part of Assam, as the other poster from NE has already told, Assam is the land of Sankar-Azan. We are only opposed to the illegal miyas that came post 1971 and who couldn't prove that they or their ancestors were Indian citizens. Stop putting a communal colour to everything.

I think the fact that the miyas beg us to consider them as Assamese would tell you lot about the ground situation. Stop fantasizing, you don't want another million to be shoved into your rear.

That’s your own fantasy. After NRC all is done. I heard your BJP lot are now crying wolf of corruption to Supreme Court as their fantasy was completely destroyed? More than 10 million Muslim has become legal already. Most of the remaining 1.5 million will become legal as well.

After that regardless how much you cry it won’t help you to not becoming minority.

It's funny to see you Bangladeshis jump up and down about the NRC, it was not even a point during our Assam agitation, we had something else stored for the illegals but for now we will settle for it. We will take our own sweet time to ensure that not even a single illegal miya stays in NE.

Did you even read what I said? Already more than 10 million Muslim has become legal. Regardless remaining 1.5 million become legal or not won’t stop the fact that you lot will become minority. It’s just a matter of time. Count your days as minority and learn Bengali which will come handy in coming years.

Assam congress always knew that, and avoided NRC all together where as AIUDF always asked for NRC.
AGP conspired with BJP and presented a rosy picture to the Hinduthva that they could expel majority of muslim from voter role but the whole concept back fired and put BJP in a awkward situation when they found majority of the illegals are actually hindus.
Now as muslim became documented they no longer will care to identify them as Ahom speaking instead they will join the mainstream hindu bengalis and turn the entire state as Bengali majority. Even though I feel sorry for the Assamese but their ill intention did not make me happy either.

Another good thing is that AIUDF lost its apeal among muslims. I hope that Badruddin retires and let Congress come back to power with overwhelming muslim vote.

What is there to hyperventilate about it, those who can furnish proof of their Indian ancestry will always be considered legal. You should worry more about what's going to be the fate of the illegals.

You are trying with the cyclical logic. Your whole idea of NRC was to preserve Ahom dominance which failed miserably. Now the illegal hindus will be given blanket citizenship and will vote in next election. Tell me where are the illegals that will remain to be deported?

Since you are a knowledgeable guy and i think you have Assamese roots too, i will explain to you the position of the illegals in detail.

You know that Congress have ruled over Assam at a stretch for the first six decades after independence. At the beginning the process of detecting the aliens was according to the Foreigners Act 1946, same act that you follow in Bangladesh. But Congress decided to do away with the Act to bring a new law just for Assam, the IMDT Act. That law was skewed towards the illegal Bangladeshis and it was a nightmare to prosecute anyone even after conclusive evidence of being an illegal was found.

Then, they started distributing land pattas to them in places that were under exclusive state control. Congress also went the distance of trying to influence the Centre of including the voter list of late eighties and 90s for the criteria of identifying them instead of the pre '71 data. A systematic process was maintained to legitimise the presence of illegals.

It took our present CM of Assam Shri Sarbananda Sonowal to petition the Supreme Court to declare the misused IMDT Act null and void and bring back the Foreigners Act again in its place.

Now we understand that many illegals have gathered citizenship documents due to the efforts of Congress, and we are ok with it as they are mostly the poor and needy.

We just don't want the illegals to misuse laws anymore and to identify those that came here post '71. This is not an exercise against the miyas or the Bongals. Lots of Nepalis and north Indians like Biharis from your part also find their names excluded. Crux of the matter is simple, you prove your Indian roots and are welcome to live amongst us. This hype surrounding NRC is both unjustified and unnecessary.

Tell me where are the illegals that will remain to be deported?
41 lakhs Bangladeshis already, and from what i hear the number will increase. I think BJP will take care of the Hindus though.

Please stop bringing Ahoms to everything regarding Assam, we are only one of the indigenous groups in the state.

Tell me where did I state the wrong history about the Chinese male-only entry to and annexation of Assam? By your standard, they are also not Assamese if the Miyas are not. The Miyas went there with their families and in the case of Chinese, only the males came to Assam and married local women. If these Jamai/Dulhan Chinese are Assamese, why not the Miyas?

Now, you are not liking what I talk about the Chinese because it is also related to yourself. You are a Chinese and you should go back to Kunming instead of bickering here. As because you are an Assamese, it is not that you know more about Assamese history than me. Now, tell me about the Chinese with your very deep knowledge. Is my statement wrong?

Tell me where did I state the wrong history about the Chinese male-only entry to and annexation of Assam?
You are wrong because the Tai people came to NE(not only in Assam) with their wives and children. Secondly, Ahoms are only one of the Tai communities, there are others too like the Khamtis, Phake, Khamyang etc.
By your standard, they are also not Assamese if the Miyas are not.
I never said that, repeatedly been mentioning that Ahom alone is not Assam though the name may sound similar to you. There are countless other ethnicities in Assam including your miyas. We are against illegal Bangladeshi citizens not any particular religion or ethnicity.
Now, you are not liking what I talk about the Chinese because it is also related to yourself.
Why would i want to dissociate from my roots, in fact the other Tai tribes still speak in their native tongue to this day. But this is totally off-topic, Assam is a melting pot of cultures and ethnicities that your homogeneously monolithic country can never understand.
Is my statement wrong?
In light of the above, you are most definitely wrong.
it is not that you know more about Assamese history than me.
So you will now teach me now about my own history? C'mon, i am all ears..

Not necessarily, the Bangladeshi miyas in Assam are simpletons and gullible sheep. Issues like development and progress of the state matters little to them, their entire existence revolves around religion and Ajmal takes advantage of that. He has done very little for them since being elected as a lawmaker.

Look at the contradictions in the last general elections- miyas of Dhubri voted for Ajmal, in Barpeta they voted for Congress to oust his brother, and in Barak constituencies fought amongst themselves to help BJP win.

Point being, muslim parties can never have a big say in Assam politics no matter how hard they try. Power will always be concentrated amongst us. And that is precisely the reason why our state will never become another WB or Kerala.

Lol. They can do whatever they want in Nagaland or any other place.

Assam is a Bengali majority state it’s just a reality. You can dream whatever you want. You lot are showing the true color of communalism and bigotry that these groups had to take steps that we have seen against British prior to independence to write poem.

Only in barbaric and savage society it can happens.

Against British sub continent people adopted the strategy. Unfortunate that after 100 year these persecuted people had to adopt same strategy and to protect their own culture and tradition.

These Monifuri sit down in Sylheti bazar chuffing on their pipes living a comfy life in Bd you see no one complaining.
