Poland says cannot accept migrants under EU quotas after Paris attacks

shame for you to speak like this as a human rights beakon and world moral saint.

Is human rights for Muslims important in foreign countries or Human rights for local people is important?

Muslims got human rights in EU, US, Canada, Australia and all other countries including China.

What happened? They are misusing it by forcing others to change culture, school food, etc etc.

Today they live in other nations where they/parents came as refugees, but they have no respect for the new country. they do not value the new nation or its traditions. See how UK Muslims spite hatred for people in UK, who accepted them in last 30-40 years. See for some youtube videos.

Instead they want to / dream of changing other countries as BEACON of Islam rule.

of course we can have a say. after all, we don't colonize other people for 200 years. we donot sell human being as slaves, and also we don't force drug on other country by guns.

Yes they colonized and use us. We all know.

Did they make Chinese change? did they make Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, ME or anyone change? Religion or so?

Then why should EU be asked to change for them? Why should EU become a rumble for the hatred appetite of some sick mullahs.

It is bringing bad name to whole community.

You are a very good poster. Trust me, you have a balanced opinion.

Since I am not EU or any of the western countries but western countries should pick up the best guy for immigration (be it muslims, hindus or anyone)..They give such a good life and liberty to live and what we do there. Sharia for Europe, more mosques. Europe should kick such kind of people from their land.

Thanks. Well, West's immigration laws only attract the best; that I've no problem with. As for Mosques, Mosques itself aren't the problem; it's how they're used bothers me. I wouldn't mind mosques as long as the call for prayer isn't said on bursting loudspeakers, organizing activities benefiting community, educating youth on a peaceful life, et cetera. Sadly, mosques are exact opposite of what one would expect these days. As Pakistan's Information Minister would say, Mosques have become 'Universities of Ignorance'.

OECD predicts 4% a year for Turkey for next 5 years. IMF is at around 3.5% average.

4% in Turkey and 1% in W Europe will mean the gap will reduce given enough time. This is compound mathematics.

E Europe is growing at almost exactly the same rate as Turkey - ignore temporary currency fluctuations
as this all balances out in the end.

Expect in 2-3 decades from now, both E Europe AND Turkey will have similar living standards to W Europe.
If you have lived in W Europe you will realise that there is no magic going on here to make it so rich, but only
a long period of following correct economic policies.

I wish you would be right, but 4% isn't feasible in the long run. It will slow down after a couple of years.
Alternatively, there's the issue of innovation driving progress forward: both E Europe and Turkey are about a century behind in that regards, and there's no shortcut available here. Population will also start to decrease.

The only economy in our part of the world that I see competing on some fields with the West in a decade or two is the Polish one. Thats it.

Dear friend...the point is if the local cuture of the land is happy with showing skin, then there is the culure of the land...Who are we people to criticize them??...At the end of the day, no one can question if your local culture requires your women to be wearing Burkha..Every one should respect the culture of your country...

You guys always think religion supersedes the culure..that is where the clash always happens...But at the end of the day, culture always dominates the religion...If if Europe cultures stands for clothing that shows skin according to you, then Muslims are welcome to migrate to Pakistan or Gulf countries..No one stops then but it is suprising that Muslims expect that everyone should change becasue they think they are supreme...

Think Practically, when some one goes to Gulf countries, they should follow tradition of Gulf countries...Why this simple concept is not being understood by Muslim people....

You missed the whole point. Nobody has problem with showing skin. However, my point was that if anybody wants to cloth in a way that doesn't reveal much skin, it is their right!

French authorities were mad because a Muslim schoolgirl wore full skirt to school...

Yesterday was 19611 signatures, today is 19776. tsk tsk...didn't do the calculation exactly, but roughly it's on track for 100000 signatures by end of March next year.

LOL.

And so what if it reaches 100,000?

Few days back, there was a petition on official whitehouse site that called for declaring Muslim holidays national holidays on federal level in the United States.

It also reached 100,000+ signatures within the time limit (which was less than four months as in here).

So again, so what if reaches 100,000+ signatures? British parliament might laugh at it. The British government has already responded by saying "We do not support banning Mosques."

If you were normal, when you come to a country, you have to integrate YOURSELF in our society, don't expect the state/french people to "accommodate" to your beliefs and whatsoever.... Like you guys asking Pork not to be served at school !
The state doesn't give a little damn if mosques are very important........ If i come to Saudi Arabia, you think they will let me ask to build churches ??!

No, French state should make sure that there is no discrimination against the minority. There is equal opportunity for everyone--including minorities and so on.

Instead, in France, there is massive discrimination against Muslims. State apparatus is openly biased towards Muslims and all of this leads to ghettozation.

Unemployment rates, incarceration rates, and education levels are very, very bad for Muslims compared to native French. And state of France has a big role to play in this...

You've got your head stuck up in your *** so hard you fail to recognize indicators of public opinion. Which at some point are vital to any incumbent in power no matter the "high road" of PC being undertaken now.

Too many mosques ruins the skyline anyway.
Whole Europe will hopefully take the French way, ie, closing and demolishing of any and all mosques which are used to "infest" local populace with silly Islamist supremacy ideology.

Poland is traditionally a industrialized western country, its just the Nazi and the following Soviet Union time that ruined a continous prospering.

Otherwise Turkey and Eastern Europe booth lack the last final step to become a developed country, there is even a term for this.

I think Czechs are more inclined to succeed than Poles on basis of innovation. Skoda was a renowned brand before WW1.

OK. Let us see what happens in the future.

How convenient ? when refugees escaping war turn to europe they are suddenly called "migrants". Like they have a choice. Now all of a sudden they are worried about EU laws. When the trigger happy EU was illegal bombing Libya in the name of "No Fly Zone" , they didnt remember UNSC laws then did they?

True, they will probably reach current W living standards at about the same time. The interesting thing to watch is how Poland will evolve from a political and military angle in the current EU. Personally I think the will become a (or the) pivot of Europe if they keep the current trajectory and Germany/France keep doing what their doing for the last decade

They can sit in Turkey (with EU financial aid). By law, the moment they leave Turkey they're not refugees.

Alternatively, they can fix their own mess in their home countries (and blaming EU/USA/NATO for all that's happening makes them look like easily influenced children at best, retards at worst. In either cases not fit to have a country, which in practice they don't have anyway).

public opinion of losers, bigots, and white lunatics can go to suck b@lls.

ISIS type orgs do attacks precisely to change public opinion and push the right in the Europe.

And mosques adds beauty to the skyline...especially in Europe. French aren't demolishing mosques en masse or something. Also, the so called "islamist" ideology doesn't come from Mosques. If anything, Mosques are critical in having a moderating influence in the community..

Europe is a multicultural, multireligious, diverse continent. And Europe should continue on this path :) Public opinion can take a rest....

Why is Poland is hyped up so much? I mean, they are barely a 40 million people and not even a 600 billion economy.

The average age is almost 40! minimal military and what not.

The real super power of Eastern-Central Europe is Turkey and it is only increasing the gap and consolidating its position with time.

They already have a almost 80 million population, 815 billion+ economy, a massive military machine (largest European power in NATO) , a population of mean age 29 (almost 10 years younger than Poland!), a growing economy, and land area which is bigger than Ukraine, France, UK, Germany, Poland, Italy, and what not.

And they are growing at a decent rate. Turkey would be one of the most powerful nation in the entire European continent of future.

Just today, Turkey cancelled its 3.4 billion Air defence system contract with China and will most likely build a long-range air defence system indigenously with the help of Western allies. Turkey has announced detailed defence spending plans and will spend around $70 billion on military build up, indigenous projects, and military industrial complex in next 8 years.

And again, that's when they already have the biggest military in Europe, and are the most powerful nation-state of Eastern and Central Europe.

Where's Poland? lol..

Turkey doesn't have any influence in Eastern Europe (ok,maybe in Albania,Bosnia).I know it sounds nice on paper to you,but it matters not to us in the region.

lol, bro U.S doesn't have any "influence" on Congo...does it matter?

In international system, only thing that matters is 'power'...Turkey doesn't have to have day to day influence on Eastern Europe. It just have to get acknowledged as the superpower of the region that nobody openly challenges or comes in their way. And that is the case. Even Greece, yes Greece--who used to challenge Turkey all the time previously--now just sits back and lets Turkey do its stuff. Power of Turks is acknowledged and felt throughout the region. Turkey is key for Europe to have any influence or role beyond their borders in Central Asia, Anatolia, Middle-East etc. And Europeans recognize this (I was just reading an article by EU expert who acknowledged this fact and said without Turkey, Europe just becomes a non-player in Middle-East, Central-Asian/Anatolian region.)

Moreover, Turkey also controls/will control major energy routes of Europe in future AND they are expanding their naval power to the extent where they will have the reach till shores of UK and would be able to operate thousands of miles away from their base..

Turkey will make sure that Eastern Europe doesn't go the extremist way and there is no power in the region that seeks of repeat the holocaust but this time with Muslims. Any lunatic state like that would be absolutely decimated by Turkey and allies without it even starts anything.

And with Western Europe being stable, progressive, and sane...future of Europe looks diverse, multicultural, and European Islam is poised to continue its rise in future as well.
