PM's India trip 'in April'

Looking at the attitude of the Bangladeshi members, I suppose there is no point in being friendly with a Country that has such a hostile population.

India has been nothing but friendly towards these people - giving up additional land for enclave and agreeing to give up maritime claim, reducing trade barriers and giving soft developmental loans ...

and look at these bunch of poisonous snakes - they give nothing but hostility in return.

Do you expect anything better from these mullahs ?

Brother I dont need to see the video to know the issue. BD leaders raised the issue of Teesta means it is important for BD and India being a larger nation should solve the issue ASAP. India has given up More land to solve enclave issue and India is willing to give up rights on water for BD. But I fail to see the objection by Mamta Banerjee to the agreement. She agreed in BD for settling the issue, when she went to BD with Modi, to solve the Teesta issue.
I dont know in future if India would again have a PM like Modi to take decisions and solve issues or another BD govt. willing to settle things with India.
BD should invite Mamta on a state visit again and again till she relents and agrees.
You people are nothing but snakes. You think you can use BD for vested interest of yours. That's not gonna happen. Weren't you the one saying this few days back:
Hindus are most steadfast to their religion people. The number of Hindu converts to Muslims is much less to Muslims convert to Hindus. Muslims are growing due to birth rate and that also keeps them in poverty due to lack of opportunities for increased population. The Christian Missionaries brain wash people and give incentives to to convert. Though despite running missionary schools and hospitals did not have the desired effect. Hindus should develop a think tank to devise how to accommodate re-converted group of people.

Hindus should have a think tank which should send its Preachers to all the parts of the World. We can start from places like Pakistan and Afghanistan and bring people to dharmic values.
Hindus must propagate dharmic values in Afghanistan Pakistan Bangladesh and then to other countries from thereon. ISCKON is doing a great job in western world. We need to take care of Western Asia. If there was propagation of Hinduism or any other Dharmic religion then Iraq, Syria would have been at Peace.

You want to destroy the advanced cultures of Europe and Middle East by exporting hinduism from your country to these places. There will be no propagation of hinduism in our country, Christianity will be propagated in hindu villages by Christian missionaries but no hindu preachers will be allowed here. We want to be advanced like Europe not backward stone age country like india with a horrible stench-filled repulsive culture. May God save us from your evil designs.

Modi is the right guy to make deals with. You can see sear border and enclave distribution deal happened with his govt in power which were being delayed by the congress
No, it was BJP the Opposition that did not make the enclave treaty happen before when Congress was in power. This time Congress the Opposition did not go against it.

For the first time I might agree with Pakistanis - their analysis of Bangladeshis seems much more spot on than what I thought of them.

You are at an earlier stage of me at this forum :)

Only Delhi Central can overturn Mamata. However, it seems she will use any BD-west Bengal issue to upgrade her own position to see herself in the PM'S Gaddi in Delhi.

Blah! Blah!! Blah!!! Teesta or gtfo. Teesta was brought up way before exclave exchange. Hell, didn't know it was even an issue before it happened.

And blaming mamata is I think unwise. She practically preached about it during her first term I think? I heard that it's mostly WB's bourgeois holding this back. Now since the regime chair is a little shaky after a controversial election (just like ours one some might say), she had to bend more backwards I think.

The trip, as seen by diplomatic circle, however, is very significant from Indian perspective with China making a great effort in deepening cooperation with Bangladesh.

The Modi administration looked uncomfortable when China, during Chinese President Xi Jinping's Dhaka visit on October 14-15 last year, elevated the bilateral ties from a comprehensive partnership of cooperation to a strategic partnership of cooperation, inking at least 27 deals involving about $25 billion.

New Delhi was reported not to be happy with Dhaka when Bangladesh purchased two submarines from China. A hefty defence deal during Hasina's visit might thaw the relationship, observed diplomatic sources.
As always Indian foreign policy is reactive rather than pro-active.They make a move when China finish its race. They almost put Bangladesh on ignore list until China start engaging strongly with BD.

No you GTFO.

Teesta is one of the smaller issues that were between India and BD. The exponentially larger and more complicated ones were solved with India being magnanimous towards Bangladesh instead of looking for equality.

We owe you absolutely nothing. Go write to your PM to cancel the fucking trip you little snake.

India solved major issues with Bangladesh way before China was involved in any shape or form. Heck, the world is giving China advice that it should follow India's lead in voluntarily giving up maritime rights to a small country despite overwhelming military and economic superiority...and China is refusing.

Though your point stands true about other countries. India's policy was reactive...till BJP came to power. Now the speed of our diplomacy has increased tremendously compared to earlier.

Nobody can overturn Mamata. That's not how our Political system works. The Chief Minister of the State has to be party to the decision else it cannot be done.

Possibly. I used to think India and Bangladesh were friendly countries what with how we were reducing trade barriers for them, giving up land for them and water territories for them.

I thought the entire region should prosper instead of just one country (India) and so we must cooperate with all neighbours.

However these people are like entitled snakes, this one little snake has the audacity to say 'teesta or nothing'. I really wish China was their neighbour instead of us - they'd have ram-rodded these people.

Do you expect anything better from these mullahs ?
If only they were even real mullah's. These are just pale copies.
The real ones - sitting in Arabia and Central Asia - we know what they think of these 'Muslims'. Heck, we know what the Pakistanis think of them.

As if we give any f**k of what they think about us.What is really important is Saudi Arabia is increasing man power import from Bangladesh.
Over 50% Saudi jobs meant for Indians shifted to Bangladesh, Pakistan in Modi govt

You've quoted the wrong website boyo. This is not a news site, its a political parties website - AAP.

And we do know the condition of Bangladeshis there. You'd be a fool to try to even think of using this as a point. It should be embarrassing. That is if you had any sense of honor or shame. As I now know - your kind doesn't.

The low skilled, uneducated, poorly educated labor who go to middle east from Bangladesh do not expect to be treated like a king.

I don't think their attitude towards Indian and Pakistani labor are vastly different than Bangladeshi labor. All are'Miskin'

Russia: Hey, Finland.
Finland: -_- yeah?
Russia: I freed you from Sweden, didn't I?
Finland: ^_^ yeah.
Russia: Bend over backwards for me.
Finland: -_- No... No! Nope!!

Funny how somewhere else in the world same dilemma persists.

real shame this trip is going to be a let down - of course, India will provide the multi billion dollar Line of Credit and other MOUs/deals will be signed - but, because of that piece of shit Mamata, no progress on Teesta.

.
Mamata was ready to give Teesta but This is not a good time. Mamata and Modi are in a state of War. If she doesn't listen to Delhi, It is hightime delhi ignored her role and sign it Unilaterally. We haven't helped India to fight North Eastern insurgency just to remain friendly. It is purely give and take relation.

You Do not need to be friendly. Bangladesh can do without being India's friend and did well in nascent stage in 1976. It is entirely give and take situation. If you dont want Chinese presence In BOB You will have to pay.
