It is a religious symbol for the "sufi" religion.

It is performed on graves all over the country every day

Gujrat with two shrines crow-sarkar and shah duallah's rats has it's own place in this business

If this woman's dance was haram, what about Tahir ul Qadri's dance ?

Women were dancing before this also, so howcome religous dance is bad and cultural dance is not ?

Dear all, my opinion is that most of us had watched in their past more bolder dances than this one. Indian channels tu Pakistan k takreebun her ghar main he chaltay hain.

Then why everyone seems to be vomiting here.

Take it lightly yaar, Chaudhry Sahib looking so and Syed Sahib , after all politicians are also human beings and not . The only difference is that they can afford such luxuries and sometime such events are arranged in their honor and that is the case what happened here.

because its in our culture to have dual personalities, the one you see here is for public show, nice perhaizgar thu thu kitni fahashi ho rehi hay....and the private pesonality...well we know it all

If Dhammal has been made part of a Drama practice.. then to label it has all sufi is an insult to those who find it disrespect.
Again, just as there are those who follow a school of thought but take it to the extreme(and out of religion) ..why cant the same leverage be allotted here?

Even then, misguided as they are.. Dhammal is still a lot less harmful than a Dasti Bamb.
