Because only federal government can lodge the charge for treason due to the sensitivity of this matter. Since N is expected to be in the federal government thus they will be liable to pursue the case. Both PPP and CT government have evaded the case so far. So N does n't pursue it, that would put the credibility of their Government on stake. I still don't know whats the stance of other parties on this case (PPP,MQM,PTI and ANP)

He should not be given a safe passage. I was amazed how people were talking about giving Musharraf a safe passage. At least we should have an example to show for suspending the constitution so that prospective dictators have something to think about. If you suspend the constitution, you face the music one day, late it may be.

And how would you conduce that those are illegal? If you're considering Judges to be illegal, then Mush by default become illegal.
