PML-N fields candidates against Chaudhary Nisar

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on Sunday announced to field its candidates against the disgruntled PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, who is contesting the upcoming general elections as an independent candidate, DawnNewsTVreported.

The party fielded Mumtaz Khan and Raja Qamar Islam from NA-63 and NA-59, respectively. Both candidates will be contesting against the former interior minister.

PML-N had at first said that Nisar would be awarded a ticket from the party if he chooses to appear before the party's board. However, Nisar refused to do so, saying that as a "candidate who won eight consecutive elections and who never had to ask for a ticket in the past", he would not ask for his place in the election.

On Friday, Nisar had distanced himself from reports of strong statements made against the PML-N leadership and the Sharif family.

The PML-N took a long time to decide on which candidates to field against the heavyweight.

Not sure wtf is PML-Z? Looks like waste of votes and PTI should get must from PML-Z votebank. And then factor in divide between N and Nisar. PTI will win this seat 100%.

Nisar lost in NA-53 to PTI candidate.

You are quite right, Its Seems NS Veto SS interim decision.
Leaving open these constituencies would be better in my opinion as well.
Now, there are better chances of PTI victory in these constituencies and restricting it should be the first priority.
This seals on another fact that NS is in no mode of any kind of NRO from anywhere.
He wants a full throttle War, which i always vouch for as well.

In the end, i will stands with NS decision....as i dont' want or believes in a hollow PMLN victory in next elections.

Its time to show party votebank power, if not then Sharif's monopoly will not last. Yes with divided vote PTI will win. But its better then letting Nisar win alone and proving his point.
